Great place. Rhis is family owned and managed. Everything is tidy and clean. The rooms are very nice and the beds comfortable. The glacier view is awesome. We had supper here. The main meat or fish dinner comes with soup and salad. The ice cream was delicious. Breakfast is included with the room. You can buy a bag lunch to go as well.

Rooms are very spacious and really clean. The heating in the floor was so pleasant on a cold, winter evening. We saw the northern lights from their courtyard and it was an awesome experience! It’s a perfect spot to see it, far away from any light pollution. You could even see them from the comfort of your bed. Breakfast was also decent and the staff was friendly

Room spacious laundry service did not shrink our clothes nor lose any clothes.
There was food but we were late closed near 9 parking was plenty no mimi fridge in room small local kitchen in building staff friendly and building decorated

My spouse and I stayed at Brunnholl for one night in late March, 2023 and we loved it. We hope to return and stay for longer next time. It's a working farm and in a very dark area not too far from Vatnajokull, so it's convenient for sightseeing and also provides an amazing dark sky to see the aurora - which we did! The rooms are cozy with warm floors and incredible views of the area. We ate in the restaurant and food was fresh and lovely. They also make delicious ice cream on-site from their own cow milk - you must try the licorice flavour! There are lots of cozy places to sit and look out the windows in the hotel as well, and they had lovely wool Lopi blankets in the room. Beds were comfortable.

Absolutely charming place with very kind staff, who do everything to make your stay enjoyable.

We had some issues or delay due to really bad weather conditions and they were very understandable and helpful regarding our concerns and always willing to find a solution to make our lives easier.

Didn’t stay here but came for the ice cream as it was around the area! Definitely have their ice cream!

Would highly recommend everyone to stay here. Such a comfortable and well stocked guest house. The view to the north is an incredible landscape of mountains and glaciers.

We stayed here for two nights and the rooms were comfortable. We thoroughly liked the kids play area that they have and is well stocked with lots of options to play with. It kept our kids busy for two entire days without wanting to exit the hotel. They also had an outdoor trampoline, sandpit with toys and mini golf. There were multiple cosy corners with books to read, board games to play and couches to relax on. There was also a common kitchen and shared refrigerator, which was helpful since the options in dinner were limited. Though the stovetop was just one, so we had to wait for others to complete the cooking, clean utensils. The WiFi was good. We got parking very close to our rooms that made it easy for us to get luggages in and out. There was a spacious lift that made to and fro easy.. The breakfast was paid but had great variety and was yummy. The owner was not very warm and raised issues while refilling milk for the free coffee that they provide. Apart from that, it was super comfortable stay.

Lovely quiet farm guesthouse close to the Ring Road. We got upgraded to a Comfort Room in the new wing and the room was really stylish and spacious with a gorgeous mountain view. Would've loved to stay longer. Good breakfast and welcoming staff were a nice addition. As an added bonus they sell delicious home-made ice cream (go for chocolate-hazelnut) and lunch packages to take on the road.

Apparently famous for its ice cream so we stopped there for an ice cream lunch. The reputation is well founded. Served by a friendly and helpful lady, three scoops each went down well. Very clean and tidy. There were a selection of kiddies toys in a little room off which the toilets were. They do a light lunch menu too.

Nice hotel pretty big for a dairy farm, very busy breakfast

Lovely spot! The hospitality was lovely and staff was friendly and helpful. Loved all the common living areas to relax within the hotel and lots of windows everywhere with beautiful glacier views.

This guesthouse on a dairy farm has beautiful surroundings. They also have their own ice cream here which was amazing. And the breakfast was top notch.

Surprisingly amazing place, located in a farm. Try the rooms in the new section they are very spacious. Good wifi, free parking, free breckfest, paid dinner and on top of it a very friendly staff. The owner went out of her way to help me reduce my costs although It meant she got less . I totally recommended staying here.

Cute guest house close to coast simply loved the Christmas decorations and set up; very homely set up and common kitchen and works, thr breakfast was simple but tasty
