Amazing place. Ramen was special, different from any kind of ramen i’ve tried before, so tasty. Very recommended! Dumplings and desserts were also great. Also, people who work there are very kind and professional. In conclusion: a lovely restaurant. I will definitely come back!

Unique restaurant in Iceland!

The place was opened on July 2019. Once you come in, you can really feel the love the owners put into every detail. Walls, decoration, illustrations, even the menus are well thought to keep a consistent image. Erna, the owner, even took us around to show us the place. She was really nice with us and as a customer I value that a lot.

The food is different from everything else I've ever tasted. This restaurant goes away from the typical Asian food and offers some truly unique experiences. They have two choices: vegan and non-vegan. We tried both and while I'm not vegan, I even liked that menu more.

Right know is not very kid friendly, since they don't have any children menu nor toys or entertainment for them. However, the owner told us that she has plans for that.

I definitely recommend it if you want a different experience and like Asian food. You would be delighted.

What a blast. This place was better than my high expectations. The people working at Makake are great. This includes the owners. One thing… If you have a heavy accent make sure to enunciate the difference between beeF and beeTs! So fun… recommend.

Cool restaurant in the harbor area of reykjavik. The menu is a delicious assortment of Asian inspired tapas and dumplings of sorts, some with a spin of Icelandic flavors. Also it seems they have a special menu for Thursdays and for Brunch on Sundays.

The space is unique and has a great atmosphere, depending on the size of your group you can even reserve the private dining area.

All in all, its a great place to eat with a friendly waitstaff. Highly recommend.

Splendid food, prepared and served with care by a dedicated, friendly staff. The venue is cool, the atmosphere casual. The menu includes a wide variety of absolutely delicious vegan dishes. A place you would certainly not like to miss!

Fengum okkur katsu í hádeginu - mjög gott. Gosið er frekar dýrt...Það voru aðeins tveir réttir í boði, katsu með eða án kjöts.

Increible! Hemos probado casi todas las tapas y estaban de 10! los postres brutales las bebidas coreanas una sorpresa.. un trato exquisito y lo mas increible el precio.. este restaurante junto al ramen momo lo mejor de reikiavik sin duda! Gracias
