This grocery store chain KRONAN, Skeifan (street) 19 is in my opinion THE BEST GROCERY STORE in Reykjavik capital. Prices are unexpected and indeed surprisingly good/low also compared to the lowest possible you can find, selection is indeed large, fresh vegetables and fruits AND everything is very clean + the employees more than willing to assist you.

Great selection and they have just about every grocery item you need. Store is not too big and was quite busy but cashiers were very quick.
