Top of the mountain spot with amazing views but affordable with excellent service. It was super busy when we cam for lunch during Christmas break but waited for a table and our food was brought really quickly. You can get coffee later , having paid for it earlier. Good choice of food too, great atmosphere too. No service charge. Will be back!

Great location, beautiful view, very nice and comfortable restaurant wood-made style.
The restaurant offers mountain dishes typical of Valle d'Aosta region.
We started with "zuppa valdostana", very good bread-cheese-cabbage-broth dish, tasty and different from the usual flavours; and "knefflene with fonduta", a kind of twisted gnoccis with cheese, tasty but too much cooked for us.
Then we got "deer with polenta", really excellent, very tasty and clearly not coming from the "great distribution" channel but most likely from local source with top quality.
The wine of the house is excellent, I regret I got only half liter...
Cakes very good, coffee normal.
Service is good, personnel is in some way courteous, but with the typical pragmatism of people of the mountain who do not have time to waste.
We spent 63 euros in 2 adults and 1 child: 3 first dishes, 1 second, 2 dessert, coffee water and wine.
We'll come back for sure!!!!

Lovely lunch at Stolemberg today. Ragu and pomodoro pasta followed by Tiramisu, difficult to beat when it's this good. Including drinks euro 25. Great food and service.

I've been for a light trekking around Passo dei Salati and after I have a very good lunch!! Polenta + fonduta + 2 eggs. Wonderful!!

Posto meraviglioso, vista spettacolare. Evitare giorni e orari di punta. Per un rifugio cosi facilmente raggiungibile e' ovvio trovare folla. Purtroppo :-( Cucina molto buona. Consigliatissimo. Ci torneremo anche d'estate.

Bel rifugio al Passo dei Salati, tra Valsesia e Valle d'Aosta. Raggiungibile sia da Alagna (Valsesia) sia da Gressoney (Valle d'Aosta). Bellissima terrazza per gustare i loro ottimi piatti e godere di un panorama fantastico. Polenta concia con funghi....strepitosa!! Consigliato!!!

Ottimo cibo e servizio. Prezzi adeguati ad un rifugio di 3000 MT. Siamo soddisfatti e consiglio a tutti gli amanti della montagna di arrivare in cima alla funivia INDREN, la vista sul Monte Rosa e le montagne delle altre vallate vale ogni soldo speso. Buona gita a Tutti. PS Meglio salire la mattina presto perché il tempo cambia in niente .....le foto allegate sono state prese nel primo pomeriggio mentre la mattina il cielo era terso ed il monte Rosa senza una nuvola.

Ottimo rifugio per fare una pausa dallo sci, con piatti ottimi a prezzi giusti. Pizzoccheri semplici ma molto saporiti. Consigliato
