Castello di Pontebosio Luxury Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the castle. Breakfast was incredible, dinner was amazing. Fulfilling all our nobility dreams!

We were randomly travelling around Italy (pre-COVID) for our 25th wedding anniversary and I stumbled upon this place. We booked a standard room but got upgraded to their 2-storey suite up top with the great views. We didn't realise until later that we were the only people staying here. We got the full history tour of the place and the results are fantastic. It was a real pleasure to stay here and wander around the local streets...like a local. We ate in-house one night and the service and quality was beyond compare. We loved it. I imagine the pool would add to the experience, but it was still spring when we stayed and the Giro had just taken off from Bologna. Summer would be awesome!

What a great discovery! We were visiting Cinque Terre and this gem really is not far away (by car!) I would rather stay here, then anywhere in Cinque Terre, hands down. Max is the bestest host.

The best hotel I have been in Italy. Two floors apartment very beautiful, same as restaurant. Fantastic food, waiter Fabrizzio and chef Antonio. Highly recommend to everyone xxx

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great food, lovely spa and spacious air conditioned rooms. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonder ambience and wonderful food. We took the waiter's suggestion for the Tagliata and it was tender and cooked perfectly.

…se volete entrare in una fiaba … siete nel posto giusto. Castello ristrutturato e curato nei minimi particolari… nulla è lasciato al caso. Atmosfera romantica, luci soffuse e una piacevole e rilassante SPA . Ottima cucina e personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile a proporre consigli sui luoghi da visitare e a raccontarci la storia di questo castello tra particolari e curiosità :).
Da sottolineare anche la gentilezza dello staff di Sala e cucina nel proporre alternative al menu quando qualcosa di programmato non poteva essere consumato per problemi personali .
Davvero un’esperienza romantica , rilassante e piacevolmente arricchita dal personale e dalla meravigliosa struttura .

Abbiamo deciso di fare un apericena con un gruppo di amici ed abbiamo goduto di una atmosfera unica, in questa dimora medioevale alle porte della Lunigiana.
Cibo vario e di buona qualità, presentato bene a tavola con un servizio attento e mai invadente.
Un ringraziamento a tutto il personale che abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrare, dalla reception alla cucina, passando per la sala.
Consigliamo, e torneremo volentieri in primavera ed estate.

Un luogo incantevole, situato in un punto nevralgico vicinissimo al mare, alle città più importanti della Toscana e della Liguria ed immerso nel verde. Raffinatezza e cura nei dettagli, nulla è lasciato a caso negli arredi e nei servizi. La cucina dal sapore antico ma al passo con i tempi. Un luogo dove trascorrere fantastiche vacanze ma anche semplici serate in compagnia. Adatto ad eventi speciali, ricorrenze uniche, serate e soggiorni romantici. Vi un'ampia zona dove rilassarsi e prendersi cura del proprio corpo ed interiorità.
All'estero vi è un'ampia piscina ed una zona relax.
Vi sono molte camere tutte molto ampie, eleganti e dotate di tutti i confort.Consigliato a chi ama star bene e gustarsi ogni attimo della propria vita.

Luogo Magico, abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana all'insegna della bellezza, ogni angolo del castello trasuda di storia, ospiti all'inaugurazione con sbandieratori e commedianti in abiti d'epoca, il sole ha fatto da cornice a questo splendido evento.
Un grazie speciale a Roberta, che ci ha accompagnato con maestria in questi due giorni.

Il castello è bellissimo, camere spaziose ed eleganti, bella la corte aperta centrale dove è possibile mangiare al lume di candela. Piscina gradevole e perfetto per visitare la Lunigiana

Zeer mooi hotel met super vriendelijk personeel! De kamers werden ingericht op basis van de gefantaseerde verhalen van de echte vorige bewoners van het kasteel. De kamers zijn zeer ruim en zeer proper! Het eten is zeer lekker, ontbijt is goed. De wijn is lekker.
Het zwembad is niet groot, maar genoeg voor verkoeling. De wellness hebben we niet bezocht.
De omgeving is mooi maar omwille van de hitte hebben we geen wandeling kunnen maken. Jammer ook dat het riviertje niet van dichterbij kan bezocht worden.

Nimm ganz hervorragenden Service ist dieses Castillo schon vom Ambiente sehr zu empfehlen. Trotz fehlerhafte Buchung, wurde uns sofort ein schönes Zimmer im ersten Stock angeboten. Das Zimmer selbst der, sauber und stilgerecht eingerichtet. Der allgemeinen Räume sowie den Terrassen und der Innenhof sind außergewöhnlich. Ein ganz hervorragendes Abendessen und ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet waren weitere Highlights. Wir waren hier absolut zufrieden. Nach PCR sind es 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Im Umfeld kann man durch aus schön spazieren gehen.
