Bar Pozzi

We ate twice at this place when we visited Belmonte. The food is freshly made and the chips are outstanding - nearly as good as our Nonna's!! Beautiful setting at the top of the village in a small piazza. We couldn't believe how cheap it was. I recommend that if you are in the area and you want to experience a beautiful Italian Belmontese evening then come to this restaurant/bar for a bite to eat and some lovely local red wine. I have even heard that they have a fiesta mid-September.

For a small local bar this place is perfect. Local folk are very kind and always greeting guests even from as far away as Russia. The waitress is super nice and despite of super localness of the place knows how to properly serve every drink. I really enjoy it coming here every night and just sitting and sipping my beer. Although the selection of drinks isn't super vast (which isn't that necessary for a bar somewhere in the mountains) it is vastly compensated by yhe atmosphere of chill and relaxation.
