Albergo Diffuso Sotto Le Stelle at I Ciacca

Such a beautiful hotel and beautiful town. Up in the mountains. Great place for hiking. Google directions are a little confusing. Look for the square by the church with the 2 clocks. Some great restaurants in town.

Probably one of the most tranquil places we went to on our 2 week trip. It's about halfway between Roma and Naples and up in the mountains. The breakfast cappuccino was the best we had all trip.

I took 5 couples to Picinisco to introduce them to my ancestral home. We stayed at Sotto le Stelle and toured the area for a couple of days. I was nervous about whether our globe-trotting friends would be happy to spend time in a small Italian town like Picinisco - I shouldn’t have been. They absolutely loved the experience, telling me it was the highlight of every trip they’d ever taken to Italy. First they were awed by the beauty of the suites at Sotto le Stelle - opulently designed, supremely comfortable, and furnished with every imaginable amenity. Everyone thought they were better than any 5-star European hotel. The hospitality of the owner and his wife began with drinks in the gorgeous piazza overlooking the Comino Valley. They provided us with an itinerary, several drivers who facilitated every aspect of our journey, a wealth of information about the area, and first-rate dining recommendations. Our friends couldn’t thank us enough for introducing them to Sotto le Stelle and the unique travel experience it offers.

A true jewel, words are not sufficient to describe this amazing place. I’ve been to a lot of places but this is near the top of my list.

Una perla nascosta a Picinisco. Suite eleganti, grandissime e perfettamente arredate. Cesidio è un gran signore di casa e oltre ad accogliervi vi affascinerà con la sua storia e della sua cantina. Perfetto per staccare qualche giorno e godersi la scoperta della val Comino!

Luogo magico, immerso in un caratteristico borgo, personale molto cordiale, disponibile e accogliente, camere confortevoli, particolari e caratteristiche, panorama mozzafiato, Daniele, il gestore, persona fantastica, Franca la massoterapeuta una professionista eccezionale, massaggio indimenticabile, persona di grande gentilezza e umanità. Struttura ottimale sia per viaggiatori in solitaria, coppie o famiglie. Nei d'intorni vi sono tantissimi luoghi d'interesse storico-religioso e naturalistico da visitare.

Albergue de altíssima qualidade, com apartamentos de sonho e vistas de montanha assombrosas. Não perder os pôr-do-sol ultra fotogénicos.
O staff é muito simpático e acolhedor, sempre prontos a fazer da nossa estadia algo memorável. Altamente aconselhado.
