Bed and Breakfast - La Mugletta - Contemporary B&B

Highly recommended. The property is set on a large green hillside and is beautifully landscaped, offering lots of different spaces for exploring or relaxing (including with kids). Inside, the rooms are very comfortable, and feel calm and uncluttered. The breakfast is undoubtedly a highlight - an amazing selection of hot and cold food, excellent hot drinks and lots that children like to eat. Ulla and Eberhart were extremely kind, thoughtful and generous hosts. The location is perfect for exploring the Euganean Hills area, as well as day trips eg to Venice.

We recommend La Mugletta without reservation. The building is exquisite with a lovely, modern design and attractive materials and furnishings. And eco-friendly in addition! The setting is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts are yummy and prepared with love by owner Ulla. Some of the ingredients come from her own garden.

You definitely need a car while staying here. You can enjoy towns in the Euganean Hills such as Arqua Petrarcha or take a short drive into the wonderful city of Padova (Padua). Or visit one of the thermal spas nearby. You can eat at restaurants in the area or buy take away food and heat (or even cook) in the large, well-equipped kitchen.

Making our reservation was a breeze. Eberhard answered my emails speedily and pleasantly. When I had to modify the reservation, he was very accommodating.

If you're visiting the Veneto region, I suggest including a stay at La Mugletta in your itinerary. It will be a delightful respite from the tourist throngs in Venice and Verona.

La Mugletta, a contemporary architecture house with lots of light, is nestled in the middle of nature. This B&B with 3 rooms was a fantastic stay, including a very good breakfast in the morning on the terrace. It has a wonderful garden to walk around or to relax. Very nice hosts, always very helpful. Its central position in the Veneto makes it a good starting point to explore this region (next to Padua, half an hour from Venice)

My bf and I stayed at La Mugletta two times during our last trip to Italy. We decided to stay there the first time since it was close to a wedding reception we were attending, and we loved it so much that we decided to stay there again for another wedding nearby a week later!

Rooms: The first time, we stayed in the orange room which was the largest of the 3 (if you don't count the green room loft). It has a lovely view full of greenery and private access to the large, common terrace. The second time, we stayed in the yellow room which was a bit smaller but still lovely, and had better wifi connection lol

Breakfast: Breakfast included a wide array of food and drinks and treats, including fruit (most of it was homegrown), pastries (d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s, so much so that we asked where they were from and bought some more lol), juices, homemade jams, etc.

Host: Ulla was so nice and sweet. She also made an effort to learn our preferences and was quick to offer them the following day(s), such as cappuccinos in the morning, etc. While there (lol), I learned my new favourite pastry is croissant with hazelnut spread filling, which she put aside for me on one of the mornings to make sure there was still some left as the other guests had their fill.

I don't come to this region often when it's not winter holidays (apparently La Mugletta is closed during that time), but I would definitely like to come stay here again the next time I'm around in non-wintertime ;)

We loved our stay at la Mugletta. Beautiful architecture in a quiet place. Perfect for discovering the surrounding region. Our Host Ulla was very friendly and helped us to discover the region. Coming again for sure!

Incredible space, delicious food, fantastic hospitality. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Gorgeous place!

Posto incantevole avvolto dalla natura e dalla tranquillità. Location ottima per visitare i colli euganei e fare passeggiate nella natura. Colazione fatta in casa dall'host buonissima. Vi consiglio anche il corso di ceramica nel laboratorio di Ulla, oltre a essere divertente vi permette di avere anche un ricordo della vacanza!

La Mugletta ist ein absoluter Sehnsuchtsort. Wir haben wunderschöne Tage dort verbracht. Ulla hat uns bestens versorgt mit ihrem tollen Frühstück und untrüglichen Tipps. Mille grazie!

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im La Mugletta. Der Garten, das Haus und die Terrasse, das Zimmer und die Gastgeber sind wunderbar. Das Frühstück ist nicht nur sehr gut sondern sensationell, mit vielen lokalen, frischen Produkten. Ulla und Eberhard haben hier einen ganz besonderen Ort geschaffen!

Ein wundervoller Ort mit großartigen und außergewöhnlich herzlichen Gastgebern. Sowohl die Lage als auch die Unterkunft selbst sind phänomenal. Das Frühstück ist so liebevoll und abwechslungsreich wie die Tips und Infos zur Umgebung durch die charmante Ulla. Wir sind uns als Family schon am dritten Tag nach der Ankunft einig: wir kommen sicher wieder! 🥰

Sehr zu empfehlen: die freundliche Gastgeberin bietet eine Unterkunft von bester Qualität an. Die Architektur ist im modernen offenen Design gehalten. Das Anwesen ist erhöht am Hügel gelegen und gibt einen weiten Ausblick in die wunderbare Landschaft. Das Frühstück besteht aus Spezialitäten aus der Gegend und ist perfekt zubereitet. Zudem gibts täglich hilfreiche Tipps für tolle Ausflüge.

Una volta arrivati in questo magnifico posto ci si sente subito a casa! Colpisce innanzitutto la bellezza della struttura, il verde che lo circonda, da non tralasciare la splendida accoglienza riservata al cliente. Le ottime colazioni di Ulla fanno si che le giornate partano con il piede giusto!!! Consigliatissimo!!

Incantevole b&b ai piedi dei colli che ci ha dato la possibilità di festeggiare il nostro intimo matrimonio a settembre. Non avremmo potuto chiedere di meglio. La disponibilità di Ulla e la sua gentilezza è stata impagabile. Cibo e organizzazione strepitosi. Il tutto in un'atmosfera rilassata, dove gli ospiti di sono sentiti come a casa. Grazie per averci regalato questo meraviglioso giorno! Assolutamente consigliato!

Io, la mia fidanzata e la nostra cagnolina abbiamo trascorso una notte in questo bellissimo B&B e ce ne siamo da subito innamorati. Architettura fantastica costruita in bioedilizia, immersa nel verde e contesto molto rilassante.
Colazione ricca e gustosa, proprietaria super accogliente.
Ci ha regalato momenti di spensierata contentezza.

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und das Bett sehr bequem.
Ulla zauberte jeden Morgen ein wunderbares Frühstück und hat ausserdem auf meine Intoleranzen und Wünsche Rücksicht genommen. Wusste dies sehr zu schätzen.
Von La Mugletta ist man innerhalb einer Stunde in Verona, Venedig oder am Meer. Orte wie Este oder Padua liegen mit 20‘ Autofahrt sehr sehr nah. Egal ob man Faulenzen, Wandern, Biken oder Baden will, es hat für jede/n was dabei!
Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen :)

Wunderschön gelegene, stylische und moderne Unterkunft. Gastgeberin Ulla verwöhnte uns mit einem hervorragenden Frühstück mit regionalen Bioprodukten. Wir erhielten von Ulla tolle Tips für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche. Durch ihre sehr freundliche und fröhliche Art haben wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt.
