Our visit and wine tasting at Elios was the epitome of Sicilian hospitality! The winery is set at beautiful location overlooking the vineyards, mountains, and sea. Nicola was so knowledgeable and informative on the wine, olive oil, and honey production from the farm to the table. He walked us through the vineyard explaining the art and science behind his products. It was clear these products are made with love and care! Afterwards, we shared wine tastings, oil tastings, and laughs around a family table overlooking the vineyards. One of our favorite days in Italy hands down. We absolutely loved our time here and will not hesitate to return when in Sicily!

If you are in Sicily you MUST visit and partake in the tour and wine tasting here! Nicola and Guido were some of the coolest people I’ve ever met and do a fantastic job touring their vineyards! It was a beautiful set up they had and the tasting part of the tour was amazing. The food they complimented with the wine was so good and their wine is the best I’ve ever tried. I left with a bottle of almost every wine that I tasted. This was the highlight of me and my wife’s trip to Sicily! Oh and Leon, their dog, made it even better!

The atmosphere of tasting was absolutely amazing: warm, cozy, full of aesthetics. We tasted wines and specialties, smiled a lot, made loads of photos, spent time with interesting people.

My family and I had an absolutely beautiful evening at the Elios vineyard. We were a group of 12 and they were very accommodating. The tour felt super personal and all about the love of the process. We then enjoyed 6 different wines with local antipasti and every bit was delicious. 100% recommend them to anyone visiting the area!

We have attended the tour of the vineyard in May. Nicola, our guide , and his father welcomed us in the mansion and after a brief introduction we were walked through the vineyard itself. Nicola is very passionate about his work and conveys his mission with clear and interesting facts about the vineyard, olive cultivation and beekeeping.
After the tour we were delighted to taste their wines and to try Sicilian delicatessen like olives , cheese, olive oil, dried tomatoes and artichokes. All while sitting in a veranda and witnessing a breakthrough sunset on the background.

Visiting Elios for a tour and tasting was certainly a highlight of our trip to Sicily. When we visit areas known for wine we love to do a tasting or vineyard tour of possible and this experience exceeded our expectations. Nicola is so passionate and knowledgeable about their process and low impact wine production. The experience felt like we were sitting down with his family to share wine and delicious bites (we did just that as his family was there to host us). The bites were delicious and all the wine we tried was phenomenal. We ended up buying three bottles because they are more affordable than purchasing at wine shops here and after wrapping them in cardboard and lots of padding they all three made it safely back in our luggage. Wear a hat and sunscreen because that beautiful Sicilian sun is strong!

Looking for a wine tasting? Then look no further - Elios is the place to go! Nicola and Guido were wonderful hosts whose passion for wine making could be seen and tasted through their knowledge and the wine they produced. Throughout the tour we learn about wine making, olive oil production and beekeeping. The tour ended with us sitting in a long table enjoying the different wines along with cheeses, olives, olive oil (which was to die for), bread and loads of other stuff. It was great that both Nicola and Guido were socialising with all the guest not leaving anyone outside, they were relaxed funny and professional. You are able to purchase their products before leaving. This experience was 10/10 everyone in our group was happy and enjoyed the tour. I would highly recommend this to everyone, if you are unsure don’t think just do it because you will not regret it.

We had a wonderful time wine tasting at Elios our last day in Sicily. It was one of the highlights of our trip and a memory we will cherish forever. We got an informative tour around the beautiful vineyard, ending in a tasting of delicious natural wines and a buffet of local food in their garden. They were very friendly, welcoming and passionate about their work. Highly recommend a visit!

My husband and I spontaneously visited the Elios Vineyard in Sicily and we were lucky enough to meet the owners/entrepreneurs/wine connoisseurs and have a tasting with them at the vineyard. The wine was amazing as well as unique. Nicola & Guido were also a pleasure to meet, they are passionate and well educated and we left feeling like we knew so much more then we arrived with. Amazing experience! Nicola welcomed us on the wine yard and we started with a small walk through the wine plantation while he was giving us detailed explanations of the winemaking process and what makes the difference in order to get a good wine. We then went on along the olive trees and I learnt quite a bit about these resistant trees and what makes good olive oil. Finally we ended up at the bee hives which I think is Nicola’s secret passion. He has probably as much passion for his bee’s as he does for his wines. He gave so many interesting points and information which I did not know. After all the facts we continued to the wine tasting itself, starting with a great white wine, continuing with orange wines and their summer wine creation, followed by a beautiful red wine accompanied by wonderful products, like their honey and marmalade, fruits from the wineyard, salami, cheeses and olives! Oh and don’t forget to dip some bread in olive oil. Such a simple, yet great taste experience. The best thing is all products are natural biological! I surely will return for another visit because I probably only grasped half of all the information Nicola was giving us while I was overlooking the beautiful landscape towards the sea!

Nicola ans his father are such great guys. The tour through the vineyard was very interesting since he took his time to explain and transfer his knowledge about wine, olives and honey. We had a great evening at his place and he made us feeling like friends he has known forever. Thank you for this lovely experience!
