Jamaica Tamboo Resort

The rooms smell and feel clean. The aC was amazing. The price was great. We loved the location. You can walk out your room into a welcoming atmosphere with super friendly and helpful staff. There’s a great restaurant , bar and cafe which faces the 9mile ocean beach front.
We booked one night and that wasn’t enough, so had to book a second night to spend more time on the beach.
Big thanks to the amazing staff there!!! We felt right at home. <3

Have Asher make you a strong cup of coffee Jamaican style at Francesco coffee bar... look for Althea to come thru offering massages in her place which is a 3 minute meandering walk south on 7 mile beach.

Loved it here. The staff are really REALLY hospitable. Very sweet, kind, and accommodating. You can tell management is really dedicated to creating a great experience for its guests. My only recommendations would be to improve wifi service to the rooms (which they were in the process of doing) and to make sure the cleanliness of the rooms are held to a higher standard (particularly the floors, and I found all different types of hairs on my sheets and pillows).

I loved this little boutique hotel right on the gorgeous stretch of Negril’s 7 miles of beach. I rang in the new year here and had a wonderful experience dancing around a beautiful bonfire they created on the sand. I also had the best view of the fireworks at midnight. Dinner was really good and the drinks were fantastic.

The beach activities crew was very helpful and not pushy, and the check in staff was warm and pleasant. Parking was easy and secure.
I’ll definjtely be back to visit.

The staff were awesome, the food was great,the price was amazing and the location is perfect to explore Negril. The beach is literally right outside your door. The rooms were nicely updated. Will defenetly come again.

My stay here was fabulous. The room was great. Cold and hot water bath plus it's right on the beach. So you go from your room to the beach.. the staff was very friendly too. I would recommend tamboo to anyone passing through the negril area.

My idea of a perfect vacation spot is a place where I can feel at home away from home. If you are looking for a place that feels like the Jamaica with it's warm and respectful simplicity, then Jamaica Tamboo is for you. If you love the beach and want the sand and water to be "right there", then Jamaica Tamboo is for you. If you love good food, a good drink, a beautiful view,and amazing service, Jamaica Tamboo is for you.

Amazing staff, makes for one fabulous experience. This is for those people who don't like the hustle and commercialism of a huge all-inclusive, but love the beauty and peace of a wonderful island. Jamaica Tamboo is close to everything in Negril, and the staff will happily accommodate your travel to island attractions.

Very nice place, nice food, nice staffs, nice location you can literally walk to other restaurants and mini marts.
