Rondel Village

Just got back from Rondel yesterday after a two week stay. We arrived just as the storms ended that brought in all of the seagrass and other sea treasures. It was a disappointment but it was not Rondel's fault. They began work immediately and only stopped once because I guess the government told them to (not clear on that). The beach was cleared in 3 days! Kudos to all of the hard work done by the staff of Rondel!!! We got there on a Thursday and were sitting on the beach by Monday. This is the only place I have stayed since coming to Negril. I would be leery about trying anyplace else. The rooms are clean. The staff are very friendly. Our maid in particular is awesome. Melissa! and Jennifer always goes out of her way to accommodate our needs. The food is very good, they have improved so much over the years on their speed of service too! We can actually go there hungry. We have always stayed in the garden rooms (roadside) and prefer this space. Over the years we see the same people and we all come together by the hot tub at the end of our days and swap stories, play games, and lots of laughing. Durand, the beach life guard goes above and beyond his job in my opinion. He is always working, always moving. Sets up his beach with perfection each morning. The location is perfect as well. I walk "safely" each morning on the street to the Hi-Lo (grocery store) it's only 1/2 mile and am greeted with Smiles the whole way! And the other way is filled with delightful little restaurants. They are located in the middle of 7 mile beach so walking to other venues on the beach is also very easy. The bar there is also top notch! Delroy, Andre, Traci are excellent in spite of constantly losing their technology. All in All...this is a great place to stay!

Everything 5/5 for me and my crew!!! We went there this past weekend for a girls trip and we had a blast. Dinner on property was awsome! Big up Shericka our waitress and Melissa the house keeper, the lifeguard, didn't get his name but all the staff were friendlyand welcoming. The property is close to the town, that was also a plus for us. I would definitely recommend!!!

This is not a cemented and gated community. It is truly a village-type area where you can interact with the locals! Thank you so much, Mario, Troy, and Elroy! The owner is a friendly man out and about talking with guests! Housekeeping services are caring women always with smiles and positive attitudes who leave fliers in your bed!

We just went here for dinner but it was lovely! The staff were the best part, some of the friendliest people we've met and so helpful. The food was also delicious and they had some good veggie options. Nice ambience too.

I haven’t been there in years but I’ve been to lots of resorts around Jamaica and this is my favourite one. I think my family and I have come back at least three times. The staff are so kind and attentive to your needs. It’s not a huge hotel but it is a place where memories are made. I love it and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Excellent property with beautiful rooms and patios, a classy restaurant and quiet beach, a relaxing garden setting and things to do within walking distance. This was so much more than I expected when we booked it!

Lovely staff. Very helpful and kind. Older hotel but they really are trying to make it better. I would return. it's a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Everything was seamless from booking to checkout. I stayed in Nectarine, I had a great view of the pool from my balcony. Breakfast was quick and tasty. It's the perfect location on the strip. Right in the middle of everything.

Rondel Village is a small hotel, with all the homey advantages that come with getting to know the staff and easy access to the essential features of a great vacation. The hotel has a lovely pool, hot-tub, restaurant you can enjoy daily, fabulous beach, and welcoming staff.

Traveling during Covid isn't easy, but our family felt safe. The front desk staff were masked always, hand sanitizer within reach, and other facilities like the restaurant were open-air, and no issue there. Rondel also arranged for our return trip Covid test, and printed results for us to have at the airport. The fee was $50/person, so bring your own approved test to save some $$. The fee was the same as going to a facility (I checked), so, very convenient to have someone come to the hotel and test us there.

Food was well-prepared, and service wonderful, so we had daily breakfast there, and a dinner or 2 in our 5-day stay. We wondered down the beach to change pace for dinner and that worked well for us.

The lifeguard connected us with a snorkeling guide, and that excursion was a great start to our morning. Lots of fish (mostly one kind, but beautiful), and sun stars, a manta ray, and good variety of coral. Easy access to a full range of other water sports, but we were happy to enjoy the beach.

We would readily return to Rondel Village. Wifi was good, and stable. Security was present, so we felt safe, and we look forward to returning. Thank you!

This place is a local GEM. The food is amazing, the bar is amazing and the fact that you are so close to the water.... OMG I loved it

Rondel Village is very comfortable and clean with a staff that is helpful and courteous. Duran had our lounge chairs out and sanitized each morning. During the day if he noticed the sun hitting us, he would fine tune the umbrella. Delroy also does a great job at the tiki bar. This is s great place to celebrate our anniversary each year. See you next year. Same time, same place.

I travel a ton for work and leisure. I am very particular at finding clean, comfortable and safe accommodations as I often travel alone - single professional female. Each time I am in Negril and just need a clean, comfortable, low key stay close to the beach and night life, I always book a room at Rondel Village. The family that owns the property along with the hospitable staff always make my stay memorable. Great food, breakfast, happy hour and fritters. This place has everything - plunge pools, beach access, clean accommodations and always great prices. I can't say enough about this property. Unlike many properties on the beach, they are flexible, friendly and ALWAYS willing to go above and beyond for their guests.

Stayed at this property by more coincidence as my original hotel had overbooked and place us here for one night.Its the best thing they ever did.
Staff were amazing!!!From frontdesk to security I felt at home and very welcome .Rooms were well appointed and even had a radio inside where I was able to listen to some Jamaican radio stations.
Property was well kept and fresh.I will definitely book directly next time.

Great place to stay in Negril. It's right on the beach, has its own restaurant and most importantly you get privacy. We booked the 2 bedroom villa and it was spacious, clean and comfortable. As of right now they have some awesome deals so take advantage while you can!

In the center of 7 Mile Beach Great location easy walk to lots of different restaurants .rooms are spacious very clean and up to date staff is very friendly .food is very good at jaybirds as well

Duran was very professional everyday he helped me with my beach chairs and was my personal photographer if needed. I had an amazing time at this resort and I will stay again.

Great staff, friendly service. Maid staff is excellent. The steamed snapper at the restaurant is stellar. The restaurant will serve you meals on the beach if you ask. Delroy at the bar serves the best kamikaze I've ever had! The security guards are very professional and always look out for the guests.

Where do I start! Our stay was delightful. From the brightly decorated, immaculately clean room to the wonderful food at the on site restaurant to the most friendly bartenders, Delroy and Donavan, that we have ever met. Andrew and Vanessa, two of the wait staff, were also great. Everyone greeted us with kindness and was there to help with whatever we needed. The room service was prompt and the food was delicious! The beach was beautiful and there were always enough chairs for everyone. This was our first visit to Jamaica and we will certainly stay here on our next! Thanks to all for a wonderful time.
