I first came to Russell’s Paradise to look at the place in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the ambience. Lovely decorations, beautiful scenery and friendly staff got my attention. Then I stayed for a day pass in the Sumner of 2023 and decided to make it an extended stay next time. Although I was iffy about choosing Russells because of the stigma of crime in Yallahs, I realized that the location was a bit secluded and open at the same time. The location is strategic in the middle of the busy town with many conveniences such as a bank, Juicie Patties restaurant, hair salon, market produce, gas station, and all the jerk chicken, festival and soup you could want. The resort is gated with security personnel checking for entrants at night. There was/is no reason to feel unsafe. It was one of the best vacation decisions I ever made. I love the atmosphere, the food, friendly staff who constantly checked in on me and my son. It is an ideal home away from home with modern amenities and spacious rooms. The external events that the resort accommodates do not interfere with guests who need to sleep. As a matter of fact, it was like tasteful entertainment to enhance the experience.

I have no complaints, just a few small suggestions, place a hook or two in the bathroom so I can hang my shower cap, add Milo to the tea table at breakfast and speed up service at the restaurant. It takes forever to get served. I sat for at least 30 minutes before getting drinks.

Otherwise, a perfect getaway with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The pool is only 5 feet deep so it is safe for teenagers. The price is competitive, considering you get a well balanced breakfast served to you in a small intimate setting. I applaud the vision of a resort of this class in Yallahs. St. Thomas, my parish, and wish the owners and managers all the success that life has to offer. ✅💯💯

Our room are very modern and up to date. Let's not forget the food and the portions wow out of this for world, I'm spending the last couple days in Montego bay at another resort but my heart is at Russell's Paradise ... can't wait to come bk to Jamaica and stay @ Russell's.

The food wasn't all that good 😕 but still enjoyed it .they overcharge waiter forgot to bring our water 💧 had to ask. For a place that's close to the sea I'm surprised to see that it does not have any flies .ldo recommend it.

First time back to JA in a long time. This resort has made me wanna come back. The staff was amazing. There are a few things I found wrong. I'm sure they will add a bannister at the bottom of the stairs to prevent someone from falling.

I stayed there a few months ago for 4 days. I loved it so much, I’ve booked for 8 days coming up soon. We normally go to Ochi for our ‘restation’, now it’s Russel. I will not hesitate to recommend it most favorable to everyone. I suggest you call in your meal order early, before going downstairs. Jamaica is a ‘no problem’ country. Everything is ten times slower than other parts of the world.

This is a hidden Gem. Breath taking views of the Caribbean Sea and stay for the sunset you won't want to miss it. If you are heading to St Thomas it's a must stop along the way for a quick drink or to dine. The team is very welcoming and the chef will ensure you have it the way you like.

Everything was lovely except the wait for the meal... We ordered wings and we waited about an hour just to receive them. When it came though it was delicious, well seasoned, not raw, fried fully.

I was pleasantly surprised by this location. It felt new with the renovations to a previous business on the same property...a true St. Thomas gem. There is a beach to complement the pool and the space makes for a great day out with the family. Rooms are also available for stop over but I didn't peak at them.

Clean, spacious, modern facilities tucked away into a true paradise. I will visit again.

My experience at Russell’s Paradise Hotel is definitely a great one. The entire staff was friendly and even though they were short staffed the entire team pitched in to help all their guests. The food was great and the rooms are awesome. I will definitely return with my family.
