Villa Caribe

I just had the most amazing vacation in Jamaica. The staff at Villa Caribe go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The beach is absolutely stunning. The view from the veranda isbreath taking and the villa its self is pretty. The villa has a rustic feel to it. The pool table was great to play on and we all enjoyed the food. The tour guide took us everywhere we wanted to go. We will deffinitelly be coming back!!!!

I stayed here with a group of friends last week and had a blast. The house was super authentic and made our group feel like we were living like locals. With your own private beach and home cooked meals, this villa is definitely somewhere I would stay again in a heart beat!!

The absolute most beautiful and tranquil spot I've ever been in Jamaica. I loved being able to pick the fresh fruit from the fruit garden and how it takes only one minute to walk down to the crystal clear water. The staff were wonderful and the service even better. A breathtaking environment.

What an amazing spot! I went here with my family and we were greeted with an amazing staff and lovely property owners. The beach was private and quaint. Very enjoyable stay!! Defiantly recommend!!

A wonderful place for your vecation.
You have a nice view to the ocean and a pretty green garden.
But for me it is Ronald and Marika which make the Villa so great.

We had a very memorable and relaxing week away at Villa Caribe. The views, home cooked food, and the hospitality cannot be beat. If you are looking for an authentic Jamaican vacation with amazing food, beaches and sunsets this is place.

The beds are small but comfortable, and there is AC in the sleeping quarters. Nothing fancy but still comfortable and clean. The main living space is great, a large dining table, big open air living room with pool table, dart board, and a huge wrap around patio. We spent most of our time sitting outside enjoying the spectacular views and playing cards/board games. There is also a great spot under the big palm tree on the front lawn for reading, tanning, or lounging.

The Beach(es):
There is a beach just across the road which is on the property but is also accessible to locals (we didn’t mind this at all). We were alone there most days. There is great snorkeling on both sides of the beach with some beautiful rocky inlets to explore. There are some great shallow/sandy spots which would be great for kids to hunt for shells. There is another larger beach a 2 minute walk away which was great for the day when there was high winds. We brought some floaties to enjoy riding the waves.

Maricca and Juicy where responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great vacation. Maricca is an amazing host and chef, and overall wonderful, caring human. I cannot say enough about how hard she works and how amazing she is at her job. She helped us to plan our meals, and then took us to the market to get our groceries for the week. This trip to the market was a huge highlight for us. We learned a lot about local ingredients and food, got to converse a bit with the local people and sellers. Without Marricas guidance we would have been completely overwhelmed. We also picked up some Patties at a local place for lunches which were delicious warmed up on the stovetop.
Some of our favourite things that Marrica made for us:
Breakfast: fluffy fried eggs, salt fish, bammies, fritters, fresh fruit, sautéed vegetables.
Dinner: oxtail, chicken with gravy, curried conch, fried chicken, we wished we could have stayed another week to try more of her amazing home cooking.
Marrica was very easy to chat with and happy to answer any questions we had. She was very helpful and even took an extra trip to town for us to stock up on Red Stripe and Patties.

Juicy the security guard not only made us feel completely safe, he also roasted fish over the fire on the beach one evening which was a special memory for us. He also went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. One day the water pressure was quite low and he climbed up to the water tank to “trick the pump” so that we would take quick showers after a day of swimming.

Shadow was just a little pup when we visited but he was a well behaved little guard dog who would check in on us every once in a while ;)

We are already planning our next visit, we hope to bring our kids with us next time so that they too can get a real taste of Jamaica like we did during this trip.
