I can recommend the Hanokstay here, its amazing to be there also in the evening and it feels like living in the old times. Besides that also the cafe is really nice with a nice view, perfect to relax.

Very well Preserved Korean nobleman house from the Joseon period. Very well kept and not crowded at all. The pond is stunning in summertime. A hidden gem.

A super pretty place to visit if you have time while in Gangneung. The ticket prices were cheap, and it wasn't crowded.

You can find typical residence of high class in the late Joseon dynasty. Enjoy and feel the breeze of old spirit!

Overnight stay in traditional hanok is a wonderful experience to not miss, then waking up early in the morning to take a walk around with no tourists around.

Calm & peacefull. You can relax and feel to old korean traditional house. Also cafe is walm and nice place with korean tea which from domestic things and coffee.

It was a delightful visit to a well-kept traditional mansion. The tall and handsome trees (pine trees and bamboos) that surround the estate are as magnificent as the educational tour of the traditional residence. There is a walkway that allows you to enjoy the beautiful trees.
