인보성당은 1852년 설립된 하선필 공소에서 분리되어
최석만 마르코, 최 요셉 형제가 개인 집을 공소로 사용하며
언양성당 소속 공소로 출발합니다.

공소 시절에는 서하리 351-1 번지에 목조 기와 건물로
프란치스코 사베리오를 주보성인으로 모시고 1954년
1월 19일에 축성되었습니다.

1986년, 현재 성당이 자리한 공소 옆 개신교회 건물을
매입하고 교세 확장을 추진했고, 2007년 1월 11일 성당으로
승격되어, 하선필 공소에서 독립했으나 현재는 하선필
공소를 관할로 두고 있습니다.
