This is the best divisional secretariat in sri lanka you can get any birth marriage death certificate less than 10 minutes. Crew is very active and disciplined. I usually dont recommend any government place but this is best.

I went to get copy of my birth certificate.I just went the place near 9.00 am and I get the copy in 10.30am.If you know regiration number of birth certificate or registrade date.You new copy charge is Lkr100/=.Other wise the charge of new copy is Lkr 200/=.All aplicant must bring 9*4 envelope.Further you have to write your name and address.

Visited there in a Saturday unsure of staff. But some officials were there, very helpful. Great service.

Now Vehicle Revenue License Renew cannot do here. You have to go to the office Department of Revenue Gampaha. Search in the map “Department of Revenue Gampaha” and this is the new place which I have been today.

One would give this a mixed comments well i certainly do... at times this works properly and efficiently and at times this government office is as same as any other government office.. well there are quite a few things that you can obtain from this office becouse their a number of government facilities in obne place.. you can get revenue liscen, your birth certificate, land ownership details, marriage certificate and many more.. they will charge you a small amount of money for example it will cost 120 rupees for a one birth certificate which is not that big amount.. sometimes their is very small queues but sometimes their is a huge queue well it mostly becouse of the ladies who works in that counters.. becouse even in working hours they goes for a snack maybe to pick up his sons from school or maybe they are in a phone call so the peoples in the queue has to wait long hours till they come back if not there are at least 2 counters for one job so the queue shouldn't be that long but most of the time only one lady is working 😅 so the queue will add up. So all and all i wouldnt recommend this if you want to get a job done this in minutes but if you have time to waste they you can get any job done here 👍
