The VOV (Vegan Restaurant)

If you are a vegan you should definitely visit this place. Their portions are huge and food is great. I don't remember exact names but I had a battered mushroom burger and my gf had a burger with mock meat and we both loved it. Also i had a soymilk latte which was surprisingly tastes good. And had a chance to talk to the owner where he explained that he made mockmeat we had from scratch which is impressive. And after that we received vegan brownie and chocolate cake as take away and owner gave us a chocolate cookie on the house! And for all of this our cost was Rs.1200(600 per person) which is a sweet deal they recommended us getting where you get 1 burger option + potato wedges, 1 drink option, 1 dessert option for Rs.600 per person and you would have to spend at least Rs.1200 to get all of that at some other place . I dont know whether they have this deal everyday. But overall im pretty satisfied with what they.

Simply AMAZING!!! They are a small, Vegan, friendly place with a cozy environment for it's size. The ginger beer I had was to die for. The mock meat burger too was REALLY good!! They are trying their best to be environmental friendly - they use metal straws and degradable wrapping for take away and even sends you e-receipts to minimize printing. No alcohol and no payments via cards is accepted. Highly recommended - will visit again! However, they don't deliver directly unless you're close by and you can't take away the drinks.

If you're looking for good vegan food in Colombo, this is the place to go. They've got pizzas, pastas and burgers, all of them with 100% vegan ingredients. Even the cheese is vegan.
The food tastes good. Service is quick and friendly. Everything is priced very reasonably.

Best vegan food in town. Had the mock meat burger and just melted. 😍😍 Sooo good. Yet to try their vegan pizza but looking forward to it. Really glad that this place exists to give a chance for vegan food to see the light.

Food is great, all the delicious junk food essentials are covered. Try the BBQ pizza, my favorite!

The owner Shashika is so friendly, he is also a 100% ethical vegan and an activist, how amazing is that!

Best vegan food restaurant in the town.. I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but i couldn't find a difference. Taste is 100% and they are innovative enough to cater the needs of the customer. The portion is so large so you never have to worry about the value they give for your money. And the prices are so reasonable as well. Worth trying it...

Great place for a snack and the v-coffee you longed for... burgers were just almost too good to be true, and fries even better. We will have to go back as there are even so many more options to chose from!! Staff is great everything is clean, would highly recommend..

One of a kind restaurant.Best place for vegans.They specialize in western vegan food.They have a variety of burgers named after vegan /vegetarian celebrities.The owner or the staff there will be willing to explain about the uniqueness and speciality of each item.Very friendly and can have a good chat with the staff.The chef is a very experienced person who has worked in hotels abroad.i have been there couple of times.The crispy mushroom burger and the mock meat burgers are the best.Their soy milk drinks are also perfect they taste better than actual milk.Highly recommend this place very cosy environment.cost is about 1800 for 2 people.The thick hand cut fries is a gem.They have a room if u want to host a small party for about 8 guests.cheers!!!

Their food is vegan and is very good. The chocolate cake is a must have. Their burgers and pastas are really good to. Also, get ready to drink from metal straws (yeah!)

A must visit place for vegans. A variety of vegan pizzas, burgers, pastas and much more are available. Especially if you are craving for meaty taste, you should try out mock meat burgers and other items. The large variety in the menu and the friendly staff add more value to the place.

Best vegan food money can buy in Sri Lanka. It’s better to call and check what they have before u head to the store.

Absolutely amazing, the service, the atmosphere, the food was all fantastic. I'm so glad i found this place, best food I've had in a long time and great value. Better than Australian vegan restaurants.

Would be cool if you could get bottled water or soft drinks there but we had lovely hot team and other that that excellent and we’re planning to come back tomorrow!!

Wonderful food. I had a burger and potatoes. Excellent. Friendly staff. Good service. The food is made to order, be prepared to wait. Good quality brakes a bit of time.

I had the fake meat burger whilst my wife had the mushroom one (it was MASSIVE) such lovely tasting food genuinley best burger we've had in Sri Lanka, everything is 100% vegan!

Also had the iced coffees which are not to be missed out on, they are . not the usual small boring coffee, they are big and full of love!

The best vegan fast food you will find in Colombo - extraordinary tasty vegan cheese too! No matter if you for the burger, pasta or pizza - you won‘t be disappointed. I ordered 3 times during my stay and would go back anytime!
