The Lion Pub & Hotel

Really enjoyed the stay, The rooms were fine, comfortable and worth of money, but all the noise from the galle road can be disturbing. Other than that everything is fine. The staff is really friendly,professional, cooperative and helpful. If you can make a sound proof technique to avoid the noises from outside, that will make it more comfortable.

Fridays there was live music at the restaurant. I liked the crowed and the Schnitzel. :) Thx for having me and I will recommend you!

Very nice and clean rooms .the food is very good at the resturant. Special thanks to- Nimeshan hemantha ( manager ) was very good and kind an fast in sorting things out and very helpfull. All staff was nice and helpful . Very happy with everything at this location .

Awesome place to hang out. I loved the atmosphere. My friend stayed there for a week and their rooms were good. The food is awesome, especially the Seafood Chopseu Rice.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff, especially Fasir, provided exceptional service throughout my visit. The room was immaculate with modern decor and a breathtaking city view. Good bar and restaurant. Prices about double from what you see in the pics from 3yrs ago which is to be expected given worldwide inflation.

Friendly helpful staff, particularly Chandru who I enjoyed chatting to and gave great service. Little quiet for a Friday night late Jan 2023 but still worth a visit.

Walked in for dinner in a Wednesday night at the bar. The bartender, yasuru he was quick, efficient and friendly. he helped recommend something for my dinner and the chicken biriyani didn’t disappoint! I even returned the next afternoon for lunch and got similar service! It was a gem I found and can’t wait to return next year- I just hope yasuru is still bartending then!

The Lion Pub is a great place to relax and enjoy a quiet dinner. The food is delicious, and the beer garden at the back is a great place to enjoy a cold beer. Lion pub was superb at when it comes to services and foods. Great place to watch d world cup While sipping a beer. Chanuka was really helpful at table getting order and be delivered. Really nice staff plus food is amazing here. Cheers!

Amazing pub with a super fun and sporty vibes.

Their service was pleasantly surprisingly quick. The variety of beers is a little bit limited, but they kaie it up with cozy and fun atmosphere, fast service, and top of the notch food.

We were served by Chanuka, who was friendly and prompt too.

I was very happy with my stay at the Lion Pub & Hotel.
The rooms are simply but clean and perfect on the way downsouth for a rest after a long flight.
A restaurant ist directly attached with cocktails & nice food.

Its a Wonderful pub in mount Lavinia where you can chill and have a drink. One of the best places to visit on a date. Chanuka who served us was very friendly and provided a good service.The outdoor ambience is awesome.

Superb place to hangout. Old staff polite as always! New boys need to be trained better! Food is amazing and the portion size is the same as before. No compromising on quality at all! So good 5 stars!

Nice place to have beer with colleagues after a hell of a day. Chilling spot. Good Service from the waiters. Everyone is so polite. Food is tasty and tabled in style. Indoor smoking is also available. There is huge projector screen in the outdoor space. Good for a match seasons

This is the ideal place to hangout with your friends while sipping a 🍺 around Mountlavinia . Very calm and nice place specially at evenings. I usually go there with my friends whenever I want to hangout with them. Food is also really good and if you go there do not forget to try Hot butter cuttlefish dish 🔥 Prices are also reasonable.Staff is very friendly and helpful. Specially I would like to appreciate Pathum for his extraordinary service ❤. Only thing is they will take like 20 minutes to serve the food. So if it's not an issue for you, then definitely this is the place!
