I have been visiting the Sarasavi Book shop in the old Minuwangoda road since my childhood. They have good selection of stationary and wide range of Sinhala and English books.
Staff is helpful and friendly. You can call their number and check for the availability of a book or stationary prior to visit.
Parking is available for 3 ~ 4 vehicles.
At last, grab a ice cream from the soya foods which is situated right next to the Sarasavi Book Shop!

I know this place since childhood. Over 15 years. I must say that the service and the atmosphere is excellent as it was back then. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We can choose our needs without unwanted involvements. Prices are also fair.

Currently, this is the bookstore with the largest collection of books in Gampaha district. It contains books of all genres including novels, short stories, poetry books, English books, biographies, religious books and etc. Located behind the Gampaha railway station is a bookstore with parking facilities. Also, things like school equipment are available for sale here. Upstairs is fully stocked with verity of books and a staff member is available to assist you as needed. You can get information by calling through the phone if you want to know the book you want in advance.

Another branch of Sarasavi bookstore where located at Gampaha area. Ground floor was dedicated for stationary items and you can get Sinhala and English books on Second floor area.This is one of the best book stores in Gampaha. They have almost all the required books. This includes students requirements and to fulfill the requirements of the readers as well. They have a very good collection of English books as well.As always the customer service was pleasant and helpful.Which rarely happens because it’s well organized and very easy to find any stuff and you pretty much get anything you need with regards to stationary.
