Beautiful hotel. Outstanding place. The staff was very, very nice and polite. The massages were very good. However, the hotel is quite old - needs a renovation. The beach next to the hotel is also very beautiful! We had a wonderful stay.

Front office staff services need to be improved

The hotel is situated on a beautiful peninsula surrounded by mangroves and the ocean. The bungalows are well equipped, but some are in need of renovation. The food is good and there is a wide choice of local dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Calm and quiet place to have your vacation. Almost all the rooms have a sea view. Rooms are comfy and clean.
You have to cross a river to get into the hotel which hotel offers. But make sure you have all the things you need because of the same reason. They charge for corkage if you want to have your drink outside of your room.

It was a great experience starting from the very beginning. We were taken to the hotel by a parry and the place was surrounded with nature to its fullest. Very friendly staff. We were accommodated with a nice, separated, cozy villa with a gorgeous view of the sea. Everything was just perfect. Take the full board and thank me later. Food was really good and many varieties too. All these were for a price that you won't believe. Two thumbs up!

It's nice to leave some tips for the nice and hard working man who takes you to the other side of the river ( such a unique experience), and for the friendly and helpful maintenance staff - they really take care, rooms are clean, fresh flowers everyday, clean swimming pool and the premises!
Bungalows on the beach, few steps from the sea. A wonderful place!
Food is varied, both local and European, nicely prepared, the staff is helpful and polite.

Clam place to enjoy the shallow beach with kids. Additionally, boat rides are available Gin Oya which is a unique experience. Rooms are of good quality, buffet needs to improved with more varieties though. Safe place to visit in this post pandemic times!

I had to spend my quarantine 14days in this hotel. Accomodation, Food, Service and Staff all are AMAZING. Everything is well organized. Food is served on time and the quality of the food is very good. Staff is doing their best to give the best service for us. 👌
I will definitely come back when the hotel is open for the public and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to have a good time.

Best for a good relaxing holiday and the staff is very good enjoyed my holiday it's my 3rd time at the resort the food was excellent only thing it needs a good renovation and good way that the visitors can get the bookings from the hotel. Need good promotion team with more offers.

One of the best beach side hotel in srilankan. We have spent our holiday here several times and just infront of the beach our cabana was located.
Foods were also good and they had nice friendly staff service as well.

Went with my lady and daughter to spend the day. My kid loved the time using their swimming pool and then we had lunch, good food. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. :))

Beautiful echo resort. Wonderful staff ready to help in any way that is possible. Visited this hotel many times planning visit again & again. Delirious food and drinks too. Lots of activities for all upart from the beach ⛱ and poolside.. Ideal for family vacations or reunions. All you can eat buffet with variety of food and flavors keep your hung away.

We had a dayout in this place... Beautiful place for anyone. We can enjoy our holidays happily. The room facilities are perfect. Foods are delicious. ( Set menu and Buffet )

One of a great hotel in the area really nicely designed, it has a nice classic look and feel to it. The rooms are well maintained, clean and calm. The Beach is in a walking distance or there is a nice pool as well so you can have both to enjoy. The food also is really good thry offers Verity of dishes, the staff is friendly and supportive. The hotel got really nice views to enjoy. Overall experience is awesome.

Must improve their maintenance

Even though Sri Lanka is in the throes of terrible political and financial unrest, we found an oasis, floating across the small slow flowing body of water on a man powered ferry we landed straight into the friendly relaxing care of the Ranwelli staff.

Our bungalow was spotless and had good quality solid wood furniture, a lovely verandah and then there was the sea, now this was not a sea to go off on a long swim in, it has currents, strong ones but we paddled ran away from surf, watched the myriads of fishing boats in the distance and the sun setting .
The food was fresh good quality produce, cooked by excellent chefs with love, we will come back.

Pork curry on the photos will explain everything about the chef. Superb and the best which I have tried. This was offered FOC as an additional dish to the full spread buffet.
Rooms was cosy and luxurious. Cleaning was superb. 1 day is not enough to explore the hotel.
Starting from the boat man, all the staff are focused to offer a superb service.
Tea buffet can be improved with a good cake.

Great hotel. One of the few hotels near the airport where you can swim in the sea. The facilities are great. But the absolute no. 1 reason to go there is the beds. Seldemly have we found hotels with beds this good mattresses. We slept like a rose all four of us.
