Munchhausen Museum

Beatiful small museum , well organised about Munchhausen , second in the world.
Everything about Munchhausen on a first floor, wax museum of Latvian celebrities and historic figures on a second. Huge playground for kids to enjoy. Fee applies.
1 km long walk and walk to the Baltic beach with white sand. Beautiful view.
Interesting place to visit.

Nice place to visit but anyway a little overrated. Price isn't worth it but to visit this place once is ok. Would be somewhat boring for really small kids. Big exhibition of lots of things, even those that are not about Münchhausen but still interesting. Lots of taxidermy animals ))) For kids would be interesting to play outside - there is for additional fee a big wooden ship made as children playground. Haven't been on wooden track - decided not to pay that crazy price just for a walk in the woods ))))

I highly recommend the tour around museum offered to visitors. Information is presented by staff members in a very comprehensive and entertaining way. You will not feel bored!

Nice place, discriptions in 4 different languages. Good for kids with a special pirate ship playground.

Not very big , but pretty and creative. Fun for kids. There is a short animation shown in one of the rooms and some info about famous Latvian people upstairs. If you don't like stuffed animals, you may want to skip the first room on the ground floor.

Huge open playground for children (2 euro per child). Nice small museum. Huge (5km, 3km and 1.1km) forest tracks.
For 15 euro you can do BBQ (with your own food). Very nice small restaurant, fair prices, tasty food and warm service.
Remember to use anti-mosquito protection.
The whole place is beautiful! Very recommended.

Really nice and interesting recommend you can also go to the forest trails and are super nice and a cafe right next to it great for Sumer

The museum itself is not that big, but there is a forest trail as well as a place to cook barbecue.

Very interesting place, not far away from Highway from Riga-Tallinn. There is a small restaurant near the Parking place, and a GIANT playground for kids.
