Tahiri museum of fossils

Enjoyable and interesting. Se amazing fossils. After we went fossil hunting and had a much better idea of what ti look for. I would recommend museum first then go hunting!

I am personally very interested in fossils, so it was great experience. We have received full explanation of the museum exposition and fossils. How they form, how they are found and treated. Museum manager was very passionate and very knowledgeable about minerals and fossils. We have also visited museum shop, and in my opinion it is the place to get the best fossil souvenirs and art. I did not like outside decoration with gypsum dino skeletons. But I fully understand that it is good attraction for families with kids. By the way dinosaur artefacts inside are real! I truly recomend!

This museum has been a really nice surprise and a super interesting visit. Asdin (hope I write it correctly) is super knowledgable about ANYTHING in the museum and he answered all our questions and gave us many details about fossils and minerals from Morocco. For 25dhm this visit is super recommended!

Excellent place to visit! There is a museum with 25 dirham fee and a very, very good shop selling minerals in different shapes and sizes, a lot of fossils small and big. I can only recommend this place. I got served in good English!

We enjoyed the stop which it was not planned. It has a very reach collection of fossils, minerals and information.

Best natural history museum along the way to Marzouca. Main staff explained in detail, very educated and dedicated to cause of local history. He showed us behind the scene artifact processing and preparations. Lots of knowledge stored in cute museum.

Great collection ranging from 500 million years old, very interesting for adults and kids alike. Must stop if you're passing through. Entry and a guided tour through the facility is free, and you're more than likely to be tempted to buy a souvenir for yourself in the shop at the end. Plan 1 - 2 hours.

This is a great little museum. Ive never seen a better collection of marine fossils. The curator took us around including to the workshops out back where we could see them cleaning up recently found examples. You xan barter at the gift shop if you dont like the price they have posted.

Very small museum, but worth visiting. There are ancient creatures and dinosaur fossils. There are fossil crafts and ore for sale. Interesting staff, they will be happy if you buy something.

Surprisingly interesting little museum with a stacked shop in the end. Free entrance and the young employee there gave a tour of the museum and the workshop behind it - really nice! It was a lot more than what we were expecting.

An interesting museum to visit, it will satisfy your curiosity about the prehistoric era of the Moroccan region. You can also buy a real fossil for a reasonable price.

Wonderful place inside this region, it's a very special museum, entrance very cheap, 50 cents, if you think to buy same present visit it, many things to find
