Monaco Café & Halal Restaurant

Amazingly good restaurant with the best food I’ve tried in my life. Must try Carbonara, Pizza and other foods when visiting to Kalaw. The shop is designed with Burmese styles and warm lights so the customers can feel the cozy vibes at night.

Unexpectedly excellent halal western food. They also serve Chinese and other food too but you gotta try those European main course. Staff are friendly and patient. Price is not so cheap but well worth for what you get. Must-eat place in Kalaw.

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Kalaw and foods are amazing and the owner himself serves the customers. The restaurant is nice and very hygienic.

Top dishes are supported with good services. Interior and exterior decorations also are relaxation. You can buy lady clothes at Monaco garments.

They have wide variety of cuisines. They offer western meal and they have a small bar too. You can take alcoholic drink from outside but they will charge you a bottle charge which is an acceptable amount. Food is so delicious, not oily and healthy, and they don't use MSG. Place is very cozy and easily accessible. It is a 5 minutes walk from main highway bus station in Kalaw. This should be one of the must go places in Kalaw, especially when you crave for good food with reasonable price. Oh.. I almost forgot to mention their toilet, which is totally a five star thing. 😁

A very welcoming environment with great halal food. The people there were very friendly and they provide one of the best food. It was spicy and flavorful. Great for the weather here.

After a tough 7hr bus ride from Bagan, we were desperate for some food. We were lucky enough to try our Monaco Cafe as it was a cute setting, friendly waiters and top quality food – it really hit the spot!
