Eagle Trekking

I did the 2days one night trek. We started at 9am and we arrived at Inle Lake around 1pm. First day 18km walk, 2° day 16km walk. The night we slept in the Pa-o tribe village, was a bit cold around 10° so if you do the trek bring with u warm clothes. Guida was good

I met Alex in Kalaw in January 2023 while I was looking for a trekking guide, and he was recommended to me. Although I did not have a guided tour with Alex since he was already booked by other clients, I can only say favorable things about him. He gave me a lot of great information and ideas about what to do in Kalaw, and I rented a mountain bike from him, which was in great condition and allowed me to explore the nearby area. Furthermore, he connected me to his brother Soe Paing from "Green Discovery", who then became my guide for a whole day trekking tour, which was a great experience. Both of them are very friendly, knowledgeable and great company. If you are looking for guides in Kalaw, choose Alex or Soe Paing and you will not regret it. Thank you very much!

We did a two day trekking tour 2016. Our two young guides were so amazing. We talked a lot, they showed us many many interesting things and explained everything (plants, animals, religion, culture) we wanted to know. So we explained them some German things :) they carried many food with them and cooked a really great fresh dinner for us at the stay in the mountain village. It was a amazing tour with great people and many great impressions. My girlfriend and me can really recommend the trekking agency. Alex on his own is very helpful and a great guy.

Eagle Trekking agency is running by Alex . Not only trekking but also he arrange campaign tour , mountain bike tour and heritage sight scene tour . Some time , he drive a taxi and send to the places where visitors offer . Last year , we went Taw Kyae blue lake and Ale Chaung water fall by his car .

I did the 3 days trekking with two other friends and we LOVED it! We went to a couple other agencies before making a decision and after meeting Alex we all agreed that we wanted to do it with them! It might be a bit more expensive than other agencies but it’s probably the most ethical agency in town (they share fairly the money with guides and locals). Our guide Yola spoke a perfect English and gave us probably the best experience we could have dreamed off! He gave us great explanations about the local culture, the plants and lots of other stuff! The food was great and we loved staying at the locals in charming little villages! Thanks again to Alex and Yola! Highly recommended!

Alex was very prompt and detailed in his communication with my partner and I before we departed on our hike from Kalaw to Inle Lake. It seemed very overwhelming with so many different agencies to choose from but were extremely satisfied with our trip. Our guide Musoe was awesome and has been guiding along route for 7+ years and great knowledge about the land and people to share. Thanks Alex & Musoe!

Alex's Eagle Trekking is #1! Make sure you stop here as soon as you get to Kalaw. You will be greeted warmly by Alex and his associates. They will tell you of all the great places to eat in town, cheap accommodation, and then give you info on the treks that are offered in the area. I walked around town to price check and found Eagle Trekking to be the most affordable for the trek to Inle Lake.

Excellent tour and very welcoming and honest person. I can strongly recommend Alex if you need reliable information where and how to hike. Not forgetting to mention that he's very generous, too

Trecking 100% recomendable para todo el mundo, hice el de 3 días y 2 noches y fue una maravilla, especialmente gracias a Álex que lo preparó todo increíble tal guía Ayeminlat con el que me lo pasé genial, a parte de los conocimientos que tiene sobre los pueblos, tribus y naturaleza que hay en la zona ya que en todo momento me iba explicando las distintas cosas. Así que sólo puedo dar las gracias y espero volver a repetir con ellos.

- :) El trekking estuvo bien. Las vistas fueron muy chulas y los paisajes muy bonitos.
- :( En cuanto a precio estuvimos comentándolo con otros turistas que encontramos y habían tenido precios mucho más bajos que nosotros en otras compañías.
- :) La guía es muy simpática y habla bien inglés. Aunque no habla demasiado durante el trekking. Aunque estuvo muy bien.
- :( En cuanto a el alojamiento, el encargado de la compañía nos aseguró que tendríamos cama, ducha y toallas. La verdad es que no fue del todo así. La cama era unas mantas en el suelo... ni si quiera en una habitación, si no en la sala de estar de una casa.
- :( No nos dieron toallas. Cuando las pedimos nos dieron una toalla de manos para dos personas.
- :( En cuanto a la ducha, es la ducha que tienen los locales en ese poblado que es un barreño en medio del patio detrás de una pared de cemento.
- :) La verdad es que la experiencia fue genial. Lo pasamos muy bien y es una forma muy bonita de acercarse a la vida local y sentirse uno más del poblado.
- :( No nos molestó el tema de la ducha, las toallas o la cama.. porque hubiéramos ido igual sabiéndolo... simplemente creo que es algo que podría avisarse cuando sabes que los turistas no estamos acostumbrados a estas cosas. Hubiéramos preferido la verdad en vez de si si tendréis de todo duchas, toallas y una cama. No cuesta nada avisar o especificar.

Trekking di 2 giorni/ 1 notte al lago Inle per due persone. Ottima comunicazione via email di Alex. Ottima accoglienza al arrivo di notte con bus. Trekking ben organizzato, mangiato sempre bene e abbondante. La guida Star e la sua giovane assistente Snow competenti e di ottima compagnia. Le consigliamo caldamente...
