University of Medicine Magway (UMMG) ก่อตั้งโดยรัฐบาลเมื่อวันที่ 14 ธันวาคม 2543 ตั้งอยู่ที่เขตมาเกว เมืองมาเกว สาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพพม่า เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยทางการแพทย์ 1 ใน 4 แห่งของสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพพม่า 2 แห่งตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองย่างกุ้งและอีกหนึ่งแห่งตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองมัณฑะเลย์ มี Khin Zaw เป็นอธิการบดี ปัจจุบันเปิดสอนในระดับปริญญาตรี (MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) มีนักศึกษาแพทย์จำนวน 2,219 คน และระดับปริญญาโท (M Med Sc - Master of Medical Science) ใน 10 สาขาดังนี้ 1.)
