Chaung Thar Lodge Hotel

This was my first time at CT lodge. Always went to gerizm and it got old, time to try new one. Price is a little bit cheaper than gerizm and location is closer to the popular hotel strips. It is located at the very edge of the popular beach stretch. Parking was adequate, but there are many rooms, and if during peak season, it might be crowded. I went there off peak so i can't comment on that. The architecture is refreshing, from normal designs, it is Roman inspired with pillars, domes and statues, everywhere. I quite like it. Sort of like a greek, roman thing.
Rooms where spacious (beach front villa and executive sea view room 2nd floor). Very clean as well. Cleaness is a major point for this hotel. Good job to the housekeeping team. Gardening and landscaping also kept well. The security, especially night guard was very active. Everytime i wake up for toilet (very often), i see him patrolling, very alert throughout the night. Great job.
Pool was big and pleasant. A bit of sand and a bit cloudy, but nothing off-putting. Food we ordered also good. Breakfast spread was also good, many varieties. Quality could be better but variety was there. Tea time was also quite good. I preferred the upstairs seaview room than the beach villa, because felt more cozy.
Now, the bad stuff. It's not the hotel's fault and the problem is not unique to this hotel, to be fair. The vendors. They nag and nag and nag u, forever. U can't have peace and quiet. They watch u, ur every move, and the moment u step out, they are there. They follow u every time u want to go to beach, or even u r in hotel compound, they shout at u to buy, or donate or horse riding or photos or whatever it is. They then tell u, that u go swimming, and come back and drove out in the morning, and they have been waiting for you to come back.....
So, to summarise, I did not feel comfortable that many eyes are watching me at all times. Many people follow u, and u constantly have to say no, thank you, all the time!!! I went to the beach to relax, but, yes, i understand they are trying to make a living, i do support that. But too much is too much. And hotels don't do anything to have their guests have their privacy. To be fair, the hotels don't let them in, but they are waiting and stationing, right outside.
Apart from that, it was all good. I will probably be back, and will stay at the back, away from vendors.

I really like Hotel rooms. It has also family room (3/4)persons. If you want to see location,check it my upload photo(5 star ⭐ for me).Breakfast was very convenient. I don't like the hotel service very much and the hotel fee (250000/day) is expensive for Burmese people.

That hotel is a damn perfect hotel. When I was there, I was like in a classical place.
Staffs are very friendly and patient to customers.
