I've had such a lovely stay at Top tour guesthouse. The guesthouse is comfortable and clean. The owners are so sweet, thoughtful, always ready to help. They organized a tour for us, booked taxis and shuttles, and were always ready to answer all our questions. The guesthouse has a nice atmosphere and is tucked in a quiet alley, but conveniently located right in the center. The breakfast are good and different everyday. 100% worth the money, I stayed there when I first arrived in ULB and came back the next two times I was in the city.

We also did a 7 days tour with Guide Soko, which was great. The accommodation was good, Soko went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable in every place. She cooked delicious, nutritious food for us and also accommodated vegetarian diets. There was more than enough food and snacks, water always available. All in all very competitive price for the service you get. I would definitely do another tour with them.

Just perfect!
The apartment is very charming, clean and comfy, the room spacious enough for 6 people.
The host is very nice and helping to visit UlaanBataar or organise a tour in Mongolia. She offered different tours that were fitting our budget and wishes so we could pick the one we prefer.
Entrance is rather tricky: when you are at the corner from the street of the building, there is a gate and then outdoor stairs to the door with code (the host is very quick to respond by phone if needed)

Good location in ulanbaataar, close to museums and state department store. Hosts are nice, speaking good english and can help you with your travel in mongolia. Everything clean and nice, good breakfast and nice common room to meet other travellers!

Booked a 9-day tour through central Mongolia and the Gobi through Munkhtuya at the guesthouse and it was fantastic. She organised the trip to suit our dates at the last min and we had the most wonderful tour guide Oggy and great driver Tsengee. Oggy was super knowledgeable and kind and speaks really good English. He taught us so much about Mongolian history and culture and shared many of his own stories and experiences too. We saw some amazing sites like the Gobi desert singing sand dunes, ancient capital, beautiful yolliin am and so much more. We rode camels and horses and met nomadic families and stayed in gers. Thank you so much for being a fantastic guide and company and making everything so easy and enjoyable for us. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderfully maintained, clean guesthouse that in real life looks just as it does in the photos. Munkh is also a very helpful and gracious host. Would certainly recommend for a stay in UB.

Mughi the host is extremely flexible and very nice. She helped me in many difficult situations I had in Mongolia and even after my trip! It is also very clean, cheap and the tours she offers are the cheapest you can find in Mongolia! I strongly recommend.

Just one word: perfect! The owner took care of everything - super polite, organized and caring! She took care of tour bookings as well and can arrange tours starting from 1 day to 14 days for regions all over Mongolia.
Location is perfect, guesthouse is clean and perfectly heated.

The Gobi tour I went on with them couldn't have been better! Moghi,the organizer & hostel operator, is lovely and attracts great staff! Oggi was easily the best tour guide I've had anywhere - passionately knowledgeable, great English, a good sense of humour, with great cooking skills on top. Meanwhile our driver had the top level mechanic abilities needed to get a charming Russian van (the star subject of many pics) through sandstorms, a broken axel head, multiple flats, and all else we encountered on a spectacular 7 day Gobi adventure. Recommended, highly!

More than perfect!
I started 8 days tour after staying with them for one night and then back to the same place to stay one night until my flight coming back to my country.
The manager, Mogi, kindly and immediately arranged a tour based on my desire starting in the next morning when I arrived the hostel.
The breakfast had a enough volume to start a big day including a boiled egg, kind of congee, bread and tea.
The 8days tour was amazing. I joined a group of 4 members including me with a tour guide, a tour assistant and a driver. One had only 4days, me had 8days and the rest 2 had 12days for the tour. Everything from the tour had a lot of fun. We had enough food and water throughout the tour. And it was punctual on the itinerary and safe enough thanks to our tour guides.
When I arrived the hostel after the tour, the manager kindly asked me a feedback from the tour and off course I said “perfect!”. Also the manager arranged a taxi for me, and the driver was so nice.
Each memory made me think like I would love to come back and repeat all the itinerary again soon like next year!

Oh, I need to add that the dormitory room has a plenty of battery tap and there is a common shower room which has hot water and it saved me a lot!

We booked a Naadam day trip with Top Tours and was impressed how the tour was run. Everything was organised and prepared. They prepared options for everything for example sandwiches for people who don’t enjoy traditional Mongolian snack, and extra toilet rolls and bottled water for everyone.

They explained everything about races at Naadam very well.

Unfortunately the wrestling ended early so we missed the race. But to compensate, they gave us a second day ticket and asked us to meet them again the next day so he can explain and guide us on day 2 (which is extra) of what we paid for.

Really appreciated the hospitality of Top Tours! Had an incredible time with them!

I stayed here and requested a tour. I asked owner about the tour on Instagram and she was very quick and helpful in replying. She is also kind about the guest house. great personality.good location. we went to central and north mongolia. tour was so excellent! guide and driver were professional. ger stay , eating and driving during the tour is a very good memory. horse riding was safe and fun even though it was my first time. I trusted everything.

Fantastic hostel, breakfast is included and prepared by the lovely host every morning. Made us feel welcome and more like visiting a friend than staying in a hostel, Mungi helped find things in the city, advised good places to see and taught us mongolian ankle bone games 11/10 experience, will be coming back.

I stayed at the Top Tour & Guesthouse in both a private room and dorm during my month in Mongolia.

Muuggi was a fantastic host and provided me with a whole heap of helpful knowledge about getting around Mongolia. I saw her do this with many tourists and organise what sounds like incredible tours.

The accommodation itself is neat, clean and comfortable with the common area being a great way to meet other travellers. When I come back, I'd stay here again for sure.

Our stay at Top Tours Guesthouse made our time in Ulaanbaatar super relaxed. The location is perfect for eating out (opposite TWO vegan restaurants and another just a short walk) and is so central that pretty much anything in the city is within walking distance.
Mögi, the proprietress, is the true star of the show. She welcomes you, gets you comfortable, and gives you your space. Even though we organised tours with another organisation, Mögi still treated us as if we were her family - something we heard bad things about with other hostels. The Top Tours team offer a free train station/airport pick up service upon arrival which is incredibly helpful as Mongolia is a new country for most and getting around can be daunting. The dorms we stayed in were always kept clean, as well as the kitchen, and full of other interesting travellers. The breakfast cooked fresh is simple and tasty (vegetarian option available also). If you want a chilled out, central and affordable place to stay while you’re in Ulaanbaatar, this is it.

Wonderful host, comfortable beds, amazing help organising our time in Mongolia and excellent tours offered! We loved our 12 day tour to south and Central Mongolia, perfect balance of scenery, local families and traditions and exploring. 4 people in a comfortable van with an excellent driver to navigate the roads. Also the tour was able to accomodate for vegetarians! Thanks Mogi!

Moghi and her team created a homey and nice environment in their guesthouse. If you booked a dorm ask if the one upstairs is available, sooo much more space! I did a 10 day Gobi & Central Mongolia Tour and everything went really smooth. Our guide Oghi is knowledgable and eager and his English is really good and our driver Tsenge always had a smile on his face, was curious about us and even wrestled with us. Great experience, thanks to the whole Top Tour Team!

Perfect location in the city, and the host is so friendly and kind. We met Dutch, Japanese, Russian and British guests - this is the best option for international travellers!

I stayed in their guesthouse which was like having a home in Ulanbaatar and went on a 8 day tour in the middle of the winter. Everything was well organized, the nomadic families we stayed with were authentic and warm people. My driver and guide (Urnaa) took excelent care of me! I can highly recommend them!

The double room my fiancee and I stayed in for a few days is excellent. The entire hostel is very nice. Very comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen for guests to use, every day a different and very tasty breakfast. Monkhtuya, the owner of the hostel, is very friendly and attentive, always willing to help with whatever was needed. My fiancee and I participated in the 8-day Central Mongolia and Gobi Desert Tour. It was amazing. Everything, absolutely everything was perfect, exceeding our expectations. Our guide Oggi, along with the driver named Tukson, made our journey a true cultural immersion, always willing to teach and very proud to introduce us to their country. We experience intensely what the nomadic life is like, interacting with several locals along the way, visiting beautiful places, mountains, valleys, sand dunes, national parks, monasteries, temples, several villages and small towns, as well as many campsites. We stayed for several moments face to face with the wildlife and saw the most beautiful sky of our lives.
My fiancee and I have been to 78 countries, working as digital nomads, writing about destinations and recording a lot of content for social media and I can assure you that the tour we did with Top Tours Mongolia was by far the most memorable and incredible experience that we've had on our travels. If you really want to experience Mongolia, they are the best.
