Saraa's Guesthouse & Tourguide

Saraa's is doing great job, and is great person to help you organize tours not only in Moron, Khuvsgul and taiga area, but also all Mongolia. Very experienced organizer, but also nice and friendly person! I hope to come back!

Sarah's guest house is really nice. She has a sauna and nice rooms.
But the thing I appreciated the most was how helpful she was and how well connected to the community she is, and how's she's able to help with almost anything. Definitely worth staying at her place, you'll be treated well

Saraa is a busy, eager and very helpful person. Helpful as she organises everything (perfectly!) for you, if you book a tour with her. In our case we did a 6 day horse trekking from Khatgal to Darkhad valley. Guide and horse guides were amazing, so was the family we stayed at the last night. Living and sleeping with them at their ger was truly unique experience. Saraa will help you organise all different kinds of tours, so just tell her your preference.
And before I forget, her breakfast is also delicious. Highly recommended!

Saraa is a really helpful lady and she helped us organize (quickly!) a horseback trip to Northern Mongolia. In one day since we met her she organized for us: a guide with horses, border permits and a driver to get us there. Her guesthouse is also nice and has a hot shower! She speaks good English which makes everything so much simpler!

If you come to Mörön to experience Mongolian life and see amazing landscapes, then you should definitely stay at Saraa's place. Saraa is very hard working and generous. She manages great tours and visits. I stayed at her place as a volunteer for a month and I had the chance to live with her nice family in quite confortable conditions.
If you come to Mörön expecting a five star hotel and a sterilized experience, then maybe try some other place!

I'm surprised to see any bad comments about this place...I travelled one month in Mongolia and Saraa's Guest House is surely a very good place to stay at ! "shower needs improving" some say, well...you're in northern Mongolia and many places do'n't offer shower at all ! "disappointed about the Tsataan tour" others commented...as if going to see the Tsataan was like going to Disneyland to see a bunch of animals... Seriously -_-'. I would definitely recommend staying with Saraa and her family, excellent mongolian food, shower during summer, and she will make the best of your tours to Khovsgol Lake and the reindeers family I have no doubt about that ! Thanks for the amazing experience Saraa !

We had A very nice time at Saraas Guesthouse. She planned us a 3-day tour to Khuvsgul lake on the day of our arrival, because we made very spontaneous plans. She picked us up from the bus station and everything was very well organized. We slept in a Ger of a very nice nomadic family and have great memories on that trip. Saraa is well known in the community of Murun and does a lot in politics and social projects for the people and she has a very nice family too. Saraa's place is a wonderful guesthouse and base for exploring the beautiful North! The house has a homely feeling and a pretty yard. She can organize tours to the Tsaatan people and also to Khövsgöl Lake. Saraa is very active in the community and in ecological development so staying at her place is also a good opportunity to learn about these issues.

Saraa's Guesthouse is ran by an incredible owner who does all of the arranging for treks to the Tsaatan people from Murun. All other people offering the tours go through her. The guesthouse has a shower and kitchen, and is close by to markets and a small Khuushuur restaurant. It is located away from the city centre and is less touristy. The staff is friendly, helpful, and fluent in English.

Saraa is lovely and can organise anything you would need around the north from visiting the Tsaatan people to getting around and staying at lake Khövsgöl. Her guesthouse is ever changing and developing eco-project which is the perfect launchpad to the north. Saraa is also very active in the community and is running in the election as well to better influnce the issues concerning the people in the north.

Accueil parfait plus qu'une guesthouse une famille, en plus saraa's à une belle âme, conseils loué une moto et partez vers le lac les paysages sont magnifiques.
