Riverine Nature Camp @ Lenggong Geopark & UNESCO World Heritage Site

Located about 500 meters from the main route Gerik - Kuala Kangsar.
A very peaceful and safe environment for nature lovers. The roar of the river water makes us feel calm and comfortable. My visit on a weekday was not during the weekend, I and 2 boys spent the night there. There are no other guests besides us.
Spacious, convenient and secure parking area. The river is about 10 meters wide, as deep as an adult's knee, moderately fast current (it depends on the current weather conditions & before, if it rains heavily then the current speed and water color will change) is suitable for bathing and relaxing.
When it comes to nature, be prepared with equipment such as mosquito nets and mosquito repellents, because it is beyond our control. My experience was not too many mosquitoes and insects visiting, nor were there any wild animals.
Please bring a long and suitable extension wire, 13amp power socket is available without any additional charge for those who check in to camping, You can bring the necessary electrical equipment. Signal strength Cellular lines from the Blue network (not to mention) full bar. There are no barriers if you need to complete work or attend an online class based on my experience.
For Muslims there are two places that can be used as a place of prayer. Separate toilets for men & women suit the place, don't have high expectations like a resort or 5 star hotel .... this is a Nature campsite. There is also a covered tap area for showering.
The owners are very friendly & helpfull. This place is also registered in the Malaysian Local Route Pitstop Operators Association (PPPLTM).

Great natural camp site. Choose to camp right beside the river or up higher near facilities. Bathroom, toilets with fresh water pipes are provided. Do ask for tour activities around Lenggong and other attractions.

River activities including traditional bamboo lunch while sitting on the river can be arranged (pre booking required.) Floats made out of tires can be rented.

Look for Pak Li, caretaker of the place, friendly and helpful

Nice camping place, next to river and nature. You could also get help from the owner to set up your camp/tent/fly etc. The bbq place was also provided. Good experience and surely will repeat. Insyaallah
