Senja Bay Resort

Overall good for the price.

Location as Coral Bay is good, many of the corals are dead but some are growing new. The beach in front of the resort, there are lots of fish. Actually, they just approaches to human maybe they think human=food giving creature.
If we snorkel around, we can see sharks, I even saw clown fish as well.

The distance to Long Beach is 10-15 minute on foot, easy to walk.

The room is just okay for the price, no need to be bigger coz we spend most of the time for the snorkeling trip or at the beach. The room I stayed is just facing the beach and close to the reception, it was so convenient coz I was with a kid only.

The staffs are kind.
Ah! There’s cats and kittens as well. Super cute.

This place really exceed my expectations, the room was nicely cleaned. Staff was super welcoming. Warm smiles from all staff member. We were treated like special guest aka VIPs. Didn't expect to receive welcome drinks but was served it nonetheless. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We booked a full board package with 3 meals daily and especially love the food made by Chef Roy. The taste of his food was superb. Magnificent job Chef Roy, keep it up and thank you for entertaining us during our meal!👍👍👍👍👍
Booked a snorkeling trip with Travveo Tours and our boatman Abang Matt provided an awesome service. Everyone was laughing at jokes and having a great time swimming with turtles and even sharks. Not baby sharks mind your but real huge black tip reef shark. We really had a great time together with others who were there for this trip.👍👍👍👍👍

It was off-peak season and the rooms were priced at 50% off. Great location and it is close to the jetty. Staff are friendly however I feel the breakfast option could be better.

Loved, loved, loved this place. Stunning location, really chilled vibe. Views are amazing and the snorkelling right from the beach is a pretty good intro, although funny miss the snorkelling trips (long out short trip, and Rawa)
The free breakfast was the same every day but perfectly fine - roti Canai, rice, noodles, egg, toast, tea/coffee.
Rooms are good, the most comfortable beds we've had in Malaysia, good bathroom, fan and a/c in our 2nd tier room.
During two overnight storms the roof leaked in several places but after the second one we informed the hotel and a maintenance lad got on the roof to sort it out a couple of hours after we mentioned it, that's pretty good service, although it never rained again.
The balcony out the front of the rooms gave great views of the sunset.
Will definitely return one day.

Whats not to like?
-booked 6bed spacious family room. 1 queen bed 4 single bed
-comfortable toilet. Newly renovated i assume. With 2 toilet and 2 bath. Very recommended for family
-easy access to beach. Suitable for kids. Can snorkel just in front the room

A very nice resort, affordable and value for money. Room are clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and really taking care of us. Food was good, more than enough for the whole family. Snorkelling trip was great, boatman was very friendly and helpful.
Overall, it was a great experience staying at this resort.

The setback was the resort is quite far from the jetty. You need to walk with your luggage for more than 5 minutes on the beach to get there. The resort should offer water taxi service to ferry the luggage and guest to and from the jetty.
On the last day of our stay, there is no electricity from 10am. Imagine taking your bath in darkness and packing your things in darkness to check out.
Resort should give ample notice so that guest can be prepared.
Return boat service was bad and unacceptable. We waited for almost 2 hours for our boat which scheduled at 12pm. Please do not use boat services from Seven Seas Sdn Bhd. They are not responsible people, do not care about their passengers. Passengers are let wondering about the boat at the jetty and nobody is there to guide you.

5/5. Came with 3 small kids. On arrival served refreshment. Even sent staff to help carry our bag from jetty. Aircond was turned on upon us entering the room. Hot shower was good. Great snorkling spot immediately in front of the room. Cafe was also great with the selection of foods and fast serving. The best thing is the staff hospitality. Never experienced such kindness before!

Stayed there for more than two weeks, because the location is so good and there beach so beautiful. Many diving centers around as well as good restaurants. Senja itself has a good restaurant and also a BBQ area located directly at the beach. The rooms are nice and the staff is really nice and doing a great service! Thanks for the great time!

Nice quiet spot on Kecil. The staff are really friendly and helpful. You get to see and hear the sea all day and the walk to long beach is really easy. Decent breakfast nasi lemak.

We spent four glorious peaceful days in Senja Bay. The owners and the staff were amazing. The rooms were very modern, clean and so comfortable. We planned to make another visit next year. We highly recommend this resort for fun, food, scuba diving or just sit on the shore and bask in the sun.

good internet connection and coverage. have plenty rooms and variety of room types to choose. the food is delicious and this one actually makes me give 5 star. this hotel's towel is heavy. and I'm impressed.

Stunning sunset view from this chalet. Various type accommodation to suit on your holiday budget. Well maintained facility for family, couple even for solo traveller. Friendly staff that always ready to assist in any situation. Provide various service for your vacation need. Thumbs up.

Upon arrival, we were served with a refreshment. Workers were friendly. Rooms are clean and toilet feels like in 5-star hotel. Definitely will come back for another stay.

Very good cost. In front of beach and very quiet.
I took small cabin with only wind fan. But I can stay comfortably. I recommend you to bring mosquito net or tent with all mesh net because there's sometimes so many mosquitoes.
Phone is ok but slow. I can only check email.

It was a gateway to nature which was at its finest. The rooms were quite old but clean. Found one of the bed frame broken, and was immediately replaced with a new one. The best part of the room is, that the beach is right at your door step, and your will in awe witnessing a beautiful 🌇!!

Always great to be spending time here under the excellent care of resort owners. One of the best (if not the best) to observe sunset (hence the name Senja). Hopefully the food can improve, and aircon is fixed.

The rooms are very okay, beautifully sundown, the sea are great (many death corals to go into the sea) for snorkeling super... delicious food in the "street"
