Langkawi Catholic Church Ave Stella Maris

Went here during my holiday at Langkawi on 2nd Advent. Small chapel yet feel so warm when I first stepped in. Sunday mass at 8pm every week. The location will bring you exactly to the front of the chapel.

It's my first time reviewing a church. I just felt like I needed to give it a little boost.
It's a cosy community trying their best to fluorish as a sacramental parish.
It was sad to hear that the 2 weeks before the Sunday I attended, they did not have Mass because of the lack of numbers. I felt so blessed that there was Mass on the Sunday I was visiting Langkawi. I cannot imagine not being able to go to Mass. Will pray for the parish and the community of Catholics in Langkawi. Especially for the priest.
I loved his homily. It was clear that he had a theologically sound formation. And the most important was that he was in touch with what was going on 'on the ground'. So his homily was both relevant and pastoral.
The Sunday Mass was at 8pm, FYI.

great day with peacefull mind to celebrate the mass

The only Catholic Church in Langkawi. Such a peaceful place to pray. Masses are celebrated on Sundays at 8pm.

The name of this church is Ave Stella Maris, it's a small catholic Chapel, and there is no holy Cross is displayed here. So if you want to go there to attend the Holy Mass go in the evening at 8:00 PM , as the Sunday is working day in Langkawi.

A friendly little church located in a shop front in the main town.
It seems like a very nice small community and everyone is quite friendly.
The only mass time is 8pm but if you are able to get there, I would recommend it.

Nice little Church. Mass is in English every Sunday 8 PM.

Great little Catholic Church.. I had to look hard to find it, from the outside it does not look like your average catholic church but inside there is everything you need. One mass a week on Sundays 8PM
