Alex Maastricht

Great place for both drinks and especially good, their risotto is absolutely divine. The bartenders are amazing, especially Iris! Pretty to look at too.
Nevertheless, definitely a place to check out!

Overall great stay at Alex, very close to the station and short distance to all amenities and attractions. The rooms are cleaned daily and the water bottles are replenished as well (bonus on the sparkling water !)

The food is quite good as well, tried the breakfast (eggs Benedict) and dinner (salmon), would come back here again.

Friends had drinks on a Friday evening. Good service and relaxed atmosphere. Close to train station. For Maastricht prices, drinks are not too expensive but not cheap either (that’s MST for you).

Not just a great stay but also a vibe for a few drinks! Super well located and friendly staff.

Great staff, good food and coffee, and a prime downtown location near the central train station make this my fav morning work and social spot in town.

The pumpkin soup was really nice. Especially in this cold weather. The waitress was also very friendly, which added to the overall experience.

What a hotel! The room was perfect the bathroom was more than i would have expected, the pictures do the rooms no justice if you're in the room, it was perfect!

My husband and I had a great experience at the Alex Hotel.
Everything was perfect, the room (spacious and clean), the staff and the breakfast.

Welcoming and friendly response upon our arrival and although we were too early, the staff gladly accepted our luggage and put it in our room for when we returned later on. The room itself was small and there wasn't a closet or some place to put clothes, but the room and bathroom was very clean.

The location is in an awesome location, with heart of Maastricht and the train station moments away.

We'd stay again and try breakfast next time.

Excellent meals and wine list, nice beers and whisky. Very friendly and helpful staff. All at a reasonable price. This was our first dinner in Maastricht, and we had a great evening. Highly recommended.

Loved the hotel, great location, very near to the main station and city center, quiet but convenient location. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Small rooms but nicely decorated, very cozy bed, clean and spacious bathroom, flatscreen tv - all good (and air conditioning!!). Breakfast is outstanding and delicious, you should definitely have breakfast at the hotel. Will definitely come back!!

One of my favorite spots to sit and watch the city pass by. The Duvel is always cold, the food is great and the service is awesome. I've heard great stuff about the hotel too. :)

I really enjoyed the stay at ALEX Maastricht.
It was a very warm welcome and a great service. The hotel is perfectly located in a walkable distance to all the sights, shops and must-see places nearby.
The room was light, very clean and spacious - plus we had a lovely balcony with a view.
About the breakfast: I loved it! Definitely can recommend ALEX when visiting Maastricht.

This place deserves10 stars instead of 5, from the moment of our arrival until we left service was A+, everyone was really nice and they really made us feel at home.

Rooms are exactly as shown on photos, with a lot of natural light, cozy and with a great view of the city and since it was carnaval, we could see the parade from our windows.

They are in the process of remodeling and adding new rooms, because of this there where workers and a little bit of noise and dust in the stairs when we arrived, but the host told us about it immediatelly, he also clarified that the works are untill 16:00, so we would not be disturbed during night and the dust would be cleaned immediately after they finished and everything happened exactly as he explained.

For longer stays the absence of a wardrobe might be a smal inconvenience for someone, but we were staying only for one night, so we didn't need it, we just used the hangers in the room.

They really take care of the details, when we arrived in the room we had a handwritten note on the bed to welcome us to the hotel and asking for feedback.

The bed was so comfortable, really nice mattress which provided us with a great rest and the bathrooms are small, but still comfortable, with enough space, not too much or too less, just the necessary space.

I missed the breakfast during the morning, but grabbed a bite a little later in the bar and it was delicious.

In the corridors you will find books with the different city tour routes in different languages, you can grab one and walk around the city, we did it and it took us to places we would have never visited otherwise, they are free in the hotel, in the visitor centre, they cost 5€, you can also ask the staff and they will give you information on places to visit and what to do.

From the hotel you can walk to any place in town, even the historical part of it.

During after-office hours the bar gets a little bit crowded, not too crowded, nothing unbearable but nice actually, good music and people having a drink or two and something to eat, we had a good time there too.

No doubt this will be our go to place anytime we have to go back to Maastricht, rooms have a very good price and they're worth every single euro payed, you get a great room, an amazing staff which provides an outstanding service, nice environment and it's perfectly located, close to the station.

Morning coffee outside watching the world go by. Close to Maastricht railway station. Cosy cushions and plants make this an ideal spot to sit and enjoy a sunny morning.

It is very hard to find literally anything that is not good at Alex Maastricht. Everything is focused on making your stay as pleasant as possible. The location is superb! 300 meters from the parking and station, 800 meters from the "old city" as the area Alex is in called "Wyck" is the new city in my opinion. Alex does not only offer a very pleasant room to stay in, but also offers a very good restaurant with tasy food and cosy atmosphere.The staff is very friendly!

Nice service and good location. The breakfasts are excellent, worthy of visiting. There is no elevator and fridge, may cause some inconvenience, but it’s not a big problem.
