Fantastic experience! Menu was well balanced with steak tartar as start, followed by really nice risotto, with truffels. Main course was 'rogge vleugeltjes", which was amazing and to complete the dinner we had to have the tiramisu! Great service and relaxed ambiance. We'll be back. I’ve been several times for family dinners. Amazing, authentic Italian food. The owner and staff are phenomenal. I am never disappointed. The menu is always lovely, and I have never disliked a dish.

Good food. Friendly staff. Quaint place. Trains thunder by every 15 minutes or so. But it used to be a train station, so what do you expect. Not a cheap eat, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Tot smaakvol restaurant omgetoverd oud stationnetje. Eindelijk eens een adres waar de klassieke Italiaanse menu-indeling wordt gerespecteerd, dus het ‘hoofdgerecht’ gesplitst in primo en secondo. De primo (spaghetti al raghu) heeft hier ook niet overdadig veel saus, zoals het hoort in Italië. Dikke prima, spaghetti mag minuutje langer koken. De zorgvuldig gebakken eend is omringd door een heerlijke jus. De antipasto (soort tartaartje) heeft een goddelijke, niet-bittere pesto. Tot slot een stevige tiramisu. Zo!, wat een goed adres is dit!

Kernwoorden: authentiek, puur en direct. Geweldige bediening, gerechten, bijpassende wijnen en huisgemaakte limoncello.

Alles komt prachtig samen in een nostalgisch oud treinstation in de Soesterduinen. Met voorbij razende treinen die je de tijd doen vergeten.
