I loved the experience of being here. This place is an absolute delight for vegans. If you want to treat your palette with authentic vegan delights, then “Hamro Vegan” is a must try.

The owner is very warm and friendly. He has 10 years of working experience in this field. He is very cautious about what goes in your food and the calories that the food contains. Vegan Sekuwa is highly recommended.

Hamro Vegan is an absolute must if you are in the area! The extensive menu is amazing! We were so impressed with the food, that we came back the next day with friends to enjoy more items off of the menu!

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The entire menu is vegan which is terrific.

I highly recommend that you try some of the seitan items which were all delicious. I especially liked the Sausage Chilly and the Seitan Sukati Sadako.

Amazing menu with so many different options. Was difficult to choose because I wanted to try everything.
We had the sandwich, tofu sushi, hawai pizza, tofu fried rice and Hamro Vegan King Special - everything was super delicious.
The mayo and vegan cheese are homemade and super tasty.

The restaurant is 100% vegan & specialises in vegan renditions of local Nepali dishes, which typically are non-vegetarian. The owner, Mr Sushil, is friendly, provided his recommendations and able to accommodate our dietary restrictions (no allium, no mushrooms). The seitan (meat substitute made out of wheat gluten) is self made by Mr Sushil.

We tried the Seitan Sukuti Sadeko (spicy dried gluten with tomato, chilli and fresh coriander), vegetable thukpa (Tibetan/Nepalese noodle soup flavoured with coriander, cumin, turmeric) and and Hamro vegan rice (vegetables, shiitake mushrooms) - they are all delicious!

Not all dishes can be made without allium (no onions, no garlic), let Mr Sushil know of your dietary restrictions and he will be able to advise you accordingly.

Pricing wise it is more expensive compared to the veg places we’ve eaten in Kathmandu, but it’s still OK (on average each dish is between 400-500 NPR) given we get to try vegan version of Nepali dishes.

The restaurant is located abt 15 mins walk from Patan Durbar Square, in the thick of local residential area.

Highly recommended place for vegan, vegetarians and Jains whilst in Lalitpur/Patan and Kathmandu - especially those looking to taste the local cuisine.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say, it boasts a good location, just a short 600m walk from the old historic center. The food was a highlight of the experience, with the tofu biryani being a delicious standout. Overall it’s positive atmosphere and definitely worth a visit for the food and friendly service.

My first and still my favourite vegan restaurant in Nepal. Unbeatable pricing and the food is good too.

My favourites are the scrambled tofu, the tofu chilly, and the special fried rice.

Super friendly service and you can even buy their seitan and sausages wholesale for a reasonable price.

We were searching for a vegan restraunt and were delighted to find Hamaro Vegan in Patan. It's just 700meters away from Patan Durbar Square. Mr Sushil the owner is such a wonderful person. We loved the food here. They have an elaborate vegan menu. I ordered apple and beetroot salad, kodo millet momos and tofu-seaweed soup...loved it! If you are health conscious and at the same time want to enjoy a delicious meal then you must definitely try Hamaro Vegan.

It was very impressive! I tried briyani, burger, kiwi ice cream, corn dog.Impressed with the quality of food.The owner was very honest, helpful and kind. The best place I've eaten. The atmosphere was very peaceful. Enjoyed the whole experience and definitely recommend this place.

Clean and quiet place, enthousiastic cook, friendly service and good food. We especially enjoyed the appetizers Seitan sakati sadeko and Mushroom Pakauda.

This was my favorite place in Patan to get food! The menu is huge and is so diverse! I ate here 3 times and could’ve eaten here for a couple weeks before trying everything. The kodo mono is really delicious. A lot of the veg food I’ve tried in the area is really oily and didn’t feel good after eating. But the food at Hamro was really healthy and delicious!!

Best vegan 🌱 food in Nepal with affordable pricing. We have tried couple other vegan restaurants too but we are satisfied with Hamro Vegan’s quality, service and price. If you are a vegan, this is a must try place in easy accessible location too 🙂

Yes! Really tasty vegan food. Owner and staff are super friendly. We had tofu sushi, glass noodles, seitan burger and seitan momo. The seitan is really good!!

Little gem of a place. Very relaxed and comfortable, huge vegan vegetarian menu. Tasty food. Attentive service. Great place and highly recommended.

We really loved it there, the music was good (sometimes a bit random but it was more fun that way) and we ate the glasnoodles with tofu and veg and it was really good. The owner was really friendly and we talked with him about his restaurant and we want to help him getting more customers as it is amazing there, so totally recommend 💕

I'm not vegan muself but to give my vegan sister dinner treat i choose this place coz i used to pass by this area. Welcome kombucha drink was soo touching. Seitan chilly taste amazed me, icecream as dessert was perfect. Cozy and peace ambience. Hope this place get popularity and recognition. Best wishes

This place is near mega college of kumaripati. It has peaceful ambience and has a delicious set of cuisine. The place serves pure vegan food. you have options to choose from where the food tastes the same as non veg items. Recommended to eat: seitan tofu biryani, ots taste the same as chicken biryani.

Though i am typically non veg person but i am amazed by the taste and quality of the foods. I enjoyed the seitan special and veg thukkpa and other items and become regular place to hangout with my veggie buddies.

We visited for dinner while staying in Patan, such a great spot. The owners are lovely and hospitable. We ordered two of the shiitake glass noodle dishes gluten free and they were fresh and tasty. It was nice to have a mix of vegetables too.
