We spent 14 nights in the region tracking around. This was by far the best lodge we stayed at.

I can do nothing but recommend stopping by here on the way up or down. Really nice locally grown food in the backyard. Clean rooms and most nice service.

Great place and food. The owner is a mountaineering legend. You'll get entertained with very interesting and adventurous stories from him.

Delightful cozy family-run teahouse in Manjo/Monjo. Rooms are nicely decorated and super clean. Room with attached toilet available. Shower is solar and very hot. Dining room is warm and inviting and the food was delicious. The owner was very kind and shared many stories with us about her youth and times as a porter. Loved our stay here!

Stayed here for a night, the beds were soft with blankets, clean bathrooms with western toilets. The family is super friendly and sweet! All of the food is from their garden, good WiFi and charging. They make their own chili sauce that’s delicious! Heated common room in the evening and morning. I’d definitely stay here again!

One of the best lodging options on the EBC trek. Stayed here on the way down. Hot shower and good wifi for only Rs. 500. Great food too, all local and organic ingredients. Rooms have charging included. Mine had an attached bathroom, but not sure if all do.

One of my favourite accommodations along the EBC route. The friendliest owners you can imagine, very very lovely people.

Double room is 500 per person per night, which felt reasonable. Hot shower is 150, which also felt reasonable compared to some other places. WiFi and charging are included, although plug points are only available downstairs in the dining room and unfortunately the WiFi didn't reach our room.

The best place on Nepal… and I visited several (but obviously not all). The people here are so genuine and kind. The food is fresh and amazing! The rooms are clean and comfortable… and warm!!! We stayed here twice on our trip and I wish I could live here.

The place is beyond charming and the family who hosted us made us feel as if we were home. The food was delicious, the views are breathtaking and we left after a two nights stay with a heavy heart. Will always cherish our time spent here and the warm hospitality we experienced. Hope to be back one day - thank you

I can't rate this place higher, Temba does a real great job as a host. Good food, rooms and location.

Wonderful place. Warm and clean, the room are perfect, wifi is there and hot shower also. Quiet and peaceful, the owner did 5 times Everest. The food is amazing and really teasty. Don't hesitate to visit them if you want meet local and nice people.

I have done a trek at Sargamatha National Park, and this was one of the best lodges I stayed, because it was really clean, the food was delicious, and the warm of the owners.

Very nice place, welcoming hosts, clean, good food. Tried homebrew chhung and "apple whiskey", excellent taste of local beverages! Also Tibetan tea was great. The host participated in a number of expeditions including Everest summit. Vegetables are fresh from the kitchen garden.

Great lodge run by an experienced Sherpa with 5 summits of Everest. His wife and family cook great meal and we had a great time!
