We stayed at Hasera last year and I just remembered now I forgot to review them. I was thinking back on how amazing our time was there. We were so lucky to be staying there at the time of a family wedding….we were included in all the festivities and felt like we were part of the family. The motto was “never go hungry” and there was constant delicious fresh organic food being made. Truly some of the most generous, high spirited and beautiful people I have ever had the privilege of staying with. They spoke impeccable English and we were constantly laughing and dancing with them celebrating. Thank you deeply for such amazing times ❤ We were also super impressed with the farm and amazing ladies who work to make organic re usable womens pads. Very very inspiring home / farm place.

The vegetables are fresh and delicious. The people are some of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. The way of life is incredibly smart and beautiful. A must visit if you ever want to learn about things we can do for others and the planet.

Conscientious, Communicative and Caring Family in Nepal Teaches Applicable Permaculture Farming Practices |
Did you know it is possible to see the entire range of the Himalayas, learn about permaculture and spend time eating and exchanging stories with a group of beautiful humans all at once? Hasera makes this possible! I am a lifelong student of permaculture from California. My boyfriend and I traveled to Nepal and spent a night at a different farm nearby. While it was nice, we were looking for a more professional learning environment. The family of Hasera is organized, fun, funny and kind. They ran a tight ship and shared their knowledge and food with us. It was so much fun to learn about their story and beyond beautiful to spend time at their farm. We were invited to participate in as many of the experiences as we liked (farm tour, digging for turmeric, preparing meals) and also given ample time to rest and spend time alone as a couple. They made three days so much fun. We also happened to be there during a local course for nearby farmers who invited us to dance with them in the evening after dinner. It was such a privilege to spend time with them. Much love to them always, I hope to see them again!

Thank you Bibek and the entire HASERA team! We had a great stay at the farm. The permaculture workshop provided invaluable insights, covering everything from seed production and water irrigation to compost making and organic insect control. Highly recommended for everyone interested in organic farming!
The whole team was amazing, we felt genuinely welcomed and the organic food they served was delicious.
Our experience at HASERA was truly remarkable!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at HASERA!

I had the incredible opportunity to learn about permaculture at this wonderful facility while indulging in authentic Nepali cuisine. This place is a hidden gem that beautifully combines sustainable living and culinary delight. The instructors are knowledgeable, and the hands-on experience was truly enriching. The highlight for me was the delicious Nepali food, which was not only a treat for the taste buds but also a cultural journey. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone interested in permaculture and wanting to savor authentic Nepali flavors.

I stayed in Hasera for around 6 days with my partner and we really liked it! The family including Govinda, Mithu, Bibek, Began and now Robina are super caring, kind and nice people. We learnt how to make samosas on the first day, on the second day we went to a traditional Nepali wedding because they know a lot of people from the village and it was a super nice experience! Apart from learning about organic and permaculture farming, we got to know women that work for a company that makes organic reusable pads in their same area and we could use our artistic skills to draw a mandala on their wall! All in all they really take care of you, feed you really healthy and good food and share with you the knowledge they have, especially on plants, medicinal herbs, and farming. I would really recommend!!

HASERA is THE place to stay if you’re visiting Nepal. The farm is a true model of ecological farming, and they generously share their wealth of knowledge on their permaculture techniques. They also offer courses in organic crop production, permaculture design, and business management. Wonderful people, delicious food, clean rooms, and gorgeous views of the landscape. I’ll definitely be back to visit again for sure!

So grateful to have found this place! It’s a beautiful way to escape the city life and feel fully emerged in the nature. I was only here for 5 days but learned so much about living sustainably, gardening, cooking, plants and so much more. Very nice family who runs the farm here. I look forward to coming back and taking the permaculture course! Thanks again ♥

Thanks everyone for such an amazing few days! We learned about organic farming, cooking, caring for a cow, making ghee (purified butter), Nepali cooking, hiked to a nearby monastery, and ate three delicious homemade organic meals a day. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Kathmandu, for a day trip or longer stay. See you again next time 😊

I'm from India, and I attended my 14-day Permaculture Design Program (PDC) at Hasera. Hasera provides a wonderful learning atmosphere with the best trainers in the field. They're simply extraordinary with their wisdom, and with their commitment to contribute to the planet, and to the lives of others. We received a lot of love from the Hasera family, with the most delicious and nutritious food ever. I highly recommend Hasera to anyone who wishes to come closer to the nature, and learn what Hasera has to offer.

HASERA is a beautiful place with warm and loving people. I really enjoyed my time here, learning about the culture and working the land. The food was amazing. It was great seeing a family that not only work with Permaculture but that they live it every single day. I recommend visiting HASERA a 100%, and hopefully I’ll have the chance to come back.

Truly a benevolent force which is changing our communities and paving way for a remarkable future. I stayed here for 14 days and completed an International Permaculture Design Course... the knowledge & experience I gained in those 14 days has changed the trajectory of my life. Here I learned how to build interpersonal relationships with your family, community, society & mother nature so that your experience of life is filled with feelings of harmony and union with nature. If the ethics and principles of Permaculture is applied in our lives, we begin to radically transform our lives & the lives around us.

We highly recommend spending time at Hasera! The people, the food, the philosophy, and the beautiful location all contributed to a memorable stay for our family!

We stumbled on Hasera Farm completely by chance.
We arrived unannounced, my wife, three kids and myself and we were greeted as if we were the most precious guests!

We really enjoyed working the soil and giving a hand on the fabulous terraces where every inch is put to profit into harmonious and human-scale various cultures. The food was delicious and we were delighted to enjoy tasty dishes made from vegetables we collectively harvested.
To all the people at Hasera thank you!!!
