Ladkeshwor Mahadev Dhaam

Ladkeshwor Mahadev Dhaam in Balthali Panauti Kavre is a beautiful and calm temple for Lord Shiva devotees. The surroundings are green and peaceful, perfect for meditation. The temple is well-kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a great place to connect with spirituality and find inner peace. Highly recommend visiting for a serene experience.

We got some kids as a local guide to show us this place which we hadn’t heard of. Seeing the trident from a distance was already interesting, and then seeing the rest of the temple alongside the river was a great experience too. The way there from Balthali is easier than coming back as it’s downhill from the village, but you can at least stop for a cold drink once you reach the top of the hill coming back

Ladkeshwor is spiritually the most important temple of lord Shiva. No matter how many times you visit this place, it never fails to delight you as it's a stunning calming, peaceful and wonderful place. This place is built in large area and includes numerous sculpture and statues.One of the largest and biggest trident (trishul), 108 ft high at Ladkeshwor Mahadev Dhaam. It is located at Panauti municipality-11 ,Balthali ,Kavreplanchok. The main attraction is largest Trishul, Mahadev Temple, beautiful Balthali village, Confluence of two rivers (ladku and Roshi river), greenery and clean picnic spot.

It takes about 2 hours from kathmandu. And just 10 mins walk from the bus parking area.Although the temple area is under construction the view around there is mesmerising. Such a peaceful place and beautiful nature.Must visit.

It is one of the best place for devotee of Mahadev. ladkeshwor mahadev can be reached in around 1.5 to 2 hrs from Kathmandu. The road upto panauti bus park is good and the rest is mix of pitched and off road. You can also go there by public vehicle. The best part of the place is trishul that is 108 ft. This trishul is also claimed as World's highest trishul. You can get a peaceful vibes. Do not pollute the place.

Absolutely wonderful place. Still under construction but gorgeous. The beautiful scenic landscape can be seen through an alternative way ( if you go through the road where vehiclea travel, you will miss some of the extra ordinary views). This way is a short cut route and usually used only by the locals. It is a steep downard while coming form the village just above it.

Honestly my grandma went here and according to her, it's amazingg!

Excellent place near kathmandu valley. Even though Google map shows 3 hrs 30 min but it takes about 1 hrs only from bhaktapur. New road that pass from khopasi is not shown by google map.
