Letirá es uno de los lugares mas tranquilos del Perú, hospitalario, tiene un clima cálido, muy cerca se encuentran los manglares, siendo el ultimo manglar del océano pacifico. actualmente es Centro poblado y la actividad principal en que se sustentan sus habitantes es la pesca industrial.

Letirá es un pueblo con muchas tradiciones que ah sabido llevar en el tiempo y con el tiempo ha sabido mejorar su calidad de vida de las personas y todavia tiene mucho por mejorar ya que los habitantes tienen que mejorar y dejar mejor vida a sus herederos

LUEGO VINIERON MAS PERSONAS A VIVIR A LETIRA,PARA HACER AULAS ALGUNOS POBLADORES HICIERON DIVERSAS ACTIVIDADES COMO:PICANTES,ALMUERZOS,PARTIDOS Y OTROS, TAMBIÉN ENVIARON DOCUMENTOS PIDIENDO AYUDA A LAS AUTORIDADES.
AHORA LETIRA ES UN PUEBLO ACOGEDOR LA MAYORÍA DE SU POBLACIÓN SON PESCADORES COMO TAMBIÉN AGRICULTORES Y AGRICULTORES COMERCIANTES , EN LA ACTUALIDAD LA EDUCACIÓN ES MAS FÁCIL YA QUE AHORA CUENTA CON UNA SALA DE COMPUTO, UN PATIO , TRES CANCHAS DE FUL BOL , MAS PERSONAL Y MAS AULAS.
