Cambais Falls

We get there by scooter and we found nice parking.. at the entrance few locals guides welcome us and offer assistance!! We give them 500p and the guide us to the beautiful two level waterfalls !!

There are an abundance of waterfalls in Cebu, I only had the pleasure of visiting two. This was the most grand!

The first waterfall is a great swimming hole and place where many local ohana park it, picnic, and have a dip. Some brave souls will do some jumps. Some more adventurous will go up and to the second waterfall which is a lot bigger! There are less people here so you have more room to swim and jump, or just admire the beauty of a tall waterfall.

I had a little bit of a hard time finding the waterfall. I mainly relied on finding marked trails. Don't give up, it's not too hard to find! I didn't have to pay to enter btw!

This waterfall was quite tough to find! It was really far in without any signs and the roads were very bumpy.

Nonetheless, when we arrived there was a group of kids that offered to take care of our bikes and guide us. We decided to allow them to guide us and I think it was good to have them.

They showed us the jump points and they didn't speak much, although they were young they were very concerned with our safety. They helped carry our items when needed and they were a joy to be around.

The walk in was likely around 15-20mins, surreal nature, untouched and just natural (unlike other falls)

The kids were nice enough to say that it's up to us to pay them/tip them. Very thankful for their time! Very beautiful well hidden waterfalls, do visit it if you get a chance! And the kids were trustworthy.

What a beautiful place! We were so lucky that it was no high season, we were there with only a hand of people. You ll find the paradise on earth there! Go there and do a jump in the water!

Nice place. For free! The trail is uphill just on the beginning and quite easy to follow. You don't need any guide, but there were kids offering to guide you, if you want.

Beautiful waterfall. Easy to reach from the street/ place where you can park your scooter/motorbike.
We didn’t see one of those big waterfalls that you see on pictures, but the walk was nice

Discovered this by accident as our intention was to see Osmena Peak. Really nice place to swim and hang out. Since it's quite inland and secluded, not so many people go here. The locals are friendly and helpful as well. Definitely coming back here to hike to the falls and take another cool dip. 👍👍👍

Beautiful waterfall at level 1. You have to track in at least 20mins before reaching the site. Water was not so clear maybe due to the occasional rain that week. Saw some groups doing canyoneering.

The experience was so great because we got to enjoy not just one but three waterfalls although the road leading to cambais falls was not easy but when you get there it was so worth it! Especially when you get to the upper falls you need to step on the bamboo made bridge it was scary but an awesome experience

This was my favourite waterfall we visited on Cebu.
When we arrived a kind family offered to watch our bikes for a few pesos which we felt was fine and then offered us a guide. Janriks and his Uncle then took us to the falls. It was a different route to what others took, but was direct and they carried our bags and made sure everything was safe. Janriks who's 13 and a chatty little guy with a great personality showed us all the best jumps and diving places at the waterfalls. With expert directions and examples. Overall we were completely overwhelmed with the beauty of the two parts on Cambais Falls with beautiful aquamarine water and stunning atmosphere. The welcoming hospitality and kindness of the family and community made it extra great too, the coconuts we had at the end were so delicious.
We tipped Janriks and his Uncle 400php for being our guide and they seemed happy with this. We were going to do less, but Janriks was so great I wanted to tip more.

Personally I prefer these falls above the other falls in the area. Cambais falls is not overly flooded with tourists, it has several (secluded) levels and is very natural and pure. * Calculate a 10-15 min hike from parking.

I loved this place! We been hitting up all the waterfalls on Cebu province and this one was nice. The hiking up the water was a great adventure. Guide is necessary and recommended.

You can hire a habal-habal from Sangi, Alegria to bring to this falls. The travel time is around 30 mins and the falls is 20 mins walk from the drop off point. Such a beauty and we really had a good time since the place is not that crowded.

The drive to get here is long and the road is tricky for low cars but well worth it. The hike in is very easy. No need for a guide, but I highly recommend that you tip the locals when they are honest. The upper falls are harder to reach but very close. Be extra careful with the slippery rocks. Lifejackets can be rented for P50 and entrance fee was P50

I took a scooter from Moalboal and was went here en route to Osmena peak (in fact I didn't make it to the peak as I had so much fun hanging out at the waterfalls!). Take one of the guides, they will show you the best spots to jump, take photos and it's a good opportunity to support the local villagers. The guides are so much fun and it's great to see them jumping too, they even showed me to the highest point at the second fall which I jumped from 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Great little falls with 2 levels and plenty of smaller jumps and dives.

Bit of a tough drive on either scooter or car, take the car route on Google maps don't even think about the moto route. Maybe a ten min walk to the falls.

But this makes it nice and quiet.

You don't need to hire a guide, but if you want the company and some tips on jumps then take one, I'm sure they're happy to receive P50 or 100. Small entrance fee.

You probably need to pay the kids around the parking spot a few P. And maybe save buying your water and snack till you get to here as many locals selling.

One of my fav places in Cebu. Short hike worth the view. You have 2-3 levels of the waterfalls and can jump from both. Barely any people come to visit so recommended if you want to avoid the crowds like in Kawasan. Will definitely come back!

Hidden gem off waterfall three different levels hardly no one there that's the best bit about it definitely worth a day trip there

The quieter Kawasan...with three levels it is great to explore for a few hours. Very cheap, beautiful and quiet when we were there in July. Also if you are driving from Moalboal or Cebu City the roads are fantastic (until the last stretch on dirt!).
