The University of Balochistan, Quetta, has been an instrumental part of my journey towards achieving an undergraduate degree in International Relations. Over the past four years, this institution has provided me with an enriching and transformative learning experience.

The academic curriculum was comprehensive and well-designed, offering in-depth insights into various aspects of International Relations. The dedicated faculty played a crucial role in nurturing my intellectual growth, always encouraging critical thinking and fostering a passion for global affairs.

Beyond the classroom, the university offered a vibrant campus life, providing ample opportunities for personal development and extracurricular activities. Engaging in student clubs, events, and conferences broadened my horizons and allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Throughout my time at the University of Balochistan, I not only gained academic knowledge but also developed essential skills such as effective communication, research proficiency, and analytical thinking. These skills have been invaluable in preparing me for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

While the university has certainly shaped my academic and personal growth, it is essential to acknowledge the support and encouragement I received from my peers and mentors. Their unwavering belief in my potential motivated me to strive for excellence and reach new heights in my academic pursuits.

As I reflect on my journey from a freshman to the day of graduation, I am immensely grateful for the experiences, knowledge, and relationships I have gained at the University of Balochistan. It has truly been a transformative period, and I feel well-prepared to embark on the next chapter of my life with confidence and enthusiasm.

I had an incredibly enriching experience at the University of Balochistan. The institution offers a diverse range of academic programs coupled with dedicated faculty who are passionate about nurturing students' growth.

The University of Balochistan was established in October-1970 through an Ordinance issued by the then Governor Balochistan. In June 1996, the Balochistan Assembly passed an ACT called the University of Balochistan ACT 1996. Thus the University of Balochistan became the sole general University of the Province imparting Higher Education to the entire population of the province in Science, Arts and Humanities.
Presently the University has 08 faculties, 50 departments, 05 centers, and 01 constituent law college. The University initially started with three departments i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Geology. With the passage of time, new departments have been established, Four Institutes (Institute of Management Sciences, Institute of Bio-Chemistry, Institute of Education & Research, Institute of Languages & Literature) and following specialized centers : Center of Excellence in Mineralogy, Pakistan Study Center, Area Study Center, Balochistan Study Center, China Study Centre, Center for Advance Studies in Vaccinology and Bio-Technology, one constituent Law College, following sub-campuses : Jungle Bagh campus Quetta, City Campus Quetta, Mastung Campus, Kharan Campus, Pishin Campus, Killa-Saifullah Campus, and several other affiliated colleges are there. Furthermore, the Abdul Samad Khan Shaheed Chair, and Nawab Yousaf Aziz Magsi Chair has been established at UoB.

Four year BS program has only been started in different departments and likewise departments are successfully running Master's, M.Phil and PhD degree programs. The University has shifted to semester system w.e.f.. 2017.
The current enrolment is over 14000 in different degree programs.
Admission is given to the local as well as domicile residents of the province on the following basis:-
a. Open Merit Balochistan 10%.
b. Open merit Quetta District 15%.
c. Open Merit: District other than Quetta. 75%.
d. A number of seats are also reserved for other disciplines.
The University of Balochistan campus is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified

A good university but it still need to be more improve to compete with the higher universities. It is the only site for the other test like hec etc

It's one of the top 10-Unversities of Pakistan. Comprising various faculties. Well educated management, Senior professors n staff r here. Structure n atmosphere Look like Green valley, old one was also good looking but after is renovation Looking so pretty n attractive. It's front n back gate worth looking. Very good administrative control, security systems are marvelous. A uniqe aspect is that it's only one University all over the world where trains are passing through. Transport system is so good, consist of good condition fleet. Overall all the best.

Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences, and it is charged with ensuring the safe use of medication. The scope of Pharmacy practice includes more traditional roles such as compounding and dispensing medications, and it also includes more modern services related to patient care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information.

1.2 The significance of Pharmacy profession and the role of Pharmacists in uplifting health care system have been well established and acknowledged all over the world. The Pharmacy profession is well known as a Life Saving Profession . The major emphasis of the World Health Organization (WHO) in the developing countries is to provide prompt and economical means for caring human health. This noble task can not be achieved with out Pharmacists because they are the only ones who know about drugs and related substances.

1.3 Department of Pharmacy was established in 1980 and due to high demand of its graduates; it is one of the most sought after discipline. It is very well staffed and equipped. Due to its high standard it is recognized by Pakistan Council of Pharmacy.

Love this University. The Main campus is very best in studies & extracurricular activities.Main campus has many canteens and very maintained enviroment. Best discipline But the city campus has no enviroment of extracurricular activities. They only focus on studies studies & studies. City campus has no proper canteen . No Greenery only Stones and dusty classes

university of Balochistan is the mother university in Balochistan Pakistan which has more the 8 faculties and 50+ departmentals, a good opportunity for Balochistan's youth to get a level best education ❤

The Best university in Balochistan. Really recommended for Higher Studies. Must apply for BS, M.phil. and Ph.D programs in different disciplines.

University of Balochistan degree, transcript, DMC, result issuance and form submission offices are now located at the new block jungle bagh road Quetta.

University of Balochistan is fascinating place. It is National level University with 70 different departments of Education. Students all over the Pakistan breath with Education. Study programs are designed as per HEC rules with international standards.

The oldest institute of Baluchistan with large capacity of well experienced teachers. I wish the students realize the well experience human resources they have which could not be found in this province.

One of the best universities in Balochistan. Anyone from all over pakistan is welcomed here if eligible. I had a ball studying here and had a much greater time staying in UOB Boys Hostel.
