Mirza Khan was the son of Wanjhal Khan, the leader of the Kharal tribe in Danabad, a town in the Jaranwala area of Faisalabad. Sahiba was the daughter of Mahni, the chief of Khewa, a town in Sial Territory in the Jhang district.

This is the time you have to protect your self respect and love, keep your promises, and sacrifice your life for truth. Mirza who was a young full-blooded man, makes Sahiba sit on his horse and rides away with her. But on the way, as he lies under the shade of a tree to rest for a few moments Mirza falls asleep, meanwhile the people who were following them on horseback with swords in their hands catch up with them.

Sahiba was a virtuous and a beautiful soul who did not desire any bloodshed to mar the one she loved. She did not want her hands drenched in blood instead of henna. She thinks Mirza cannot miss his target, and if he strikes, her brothers would surely die. Before waking up Mirza, Sahiban breaks his arrows so he can't use them. She presumes on seeing her, her brothers would feel sorry and forgive Mirza and take him in their arms.

But the brothers attack Mirza and kill him. Sahiban takes a sword and slaughters herself and thus bids farewell to this world.

گھر ونجھل دے مرزا ، جمیاں کرڑے بار
جنم دِتے مائی باپ نیں ، رُوپ دِتا کرتار
ایسا مِرزا سور ماں ، کھرلاں دا سردار
صاحباں پڑھدی پٹیاں ، مِرزا پڑھے قُرآن
وِچ مسیت دے لگیاں ، جانے کُل جہان

I love, I am in love with this place. Mirza Sahiban Tomb is one of historical place to visit near Jaranwala. Good to see electricity in the tomb. Must Visit I recommend

I have visited the grave of a non terminating story of love, Mirza and sahiba for three to four times. I find myself in those days. I don't know why I'm attracted to this place, it seems that whole the life of Mirza and sahiba happened before my eyes.
I wish to visit it again and again.
To reach at grave of Mirza and sahiba is although a difficult task. You have to face a bumpy ride because of broken roads.
There is no better road access to the tombs.
It depends upon the government and heritage department to provide an ease of way, roads and transport to the visitors.
inshAllah soon I am going to visit this tomb again.

Mirza sahiban is one of the folk tale of Punjab and happy to see that their graves are in faisalabad

Yup i was there its really far away from GT road and the road is also not good and that road is known for not being secure .dont travel alone on that road
