I loved meeting Rose and Steve and staying in the most comfortable bed. They warmly welcomed me into their humble abode and I loved their company and energy. Open minded free spirited generous and funny. The food they made was delicious. Thank you <3

Steve and Rose were so wonderful! After a long way, my sister and I arrived and ate with them very delicious home-made meals. They have a beautiful place. It felt like home and being with family. They are so loving and kind. They even gave us some food to pack for the next day. I'm so grateful to have met them and shared this experience with them! Thank you Rose and Sreve!

Amazing place! I visited Steve and his family on my way to Santiago de Compostela and it was a fantastic experience. Very homey atmosphere and the work they are doing refurbishing the cottages is impressive, definetly turning into a dreamplace!

Incredible place, very peaceful. The hosts were very nice, funny, welcoming, we had a very great moment with them ! Hope to see you again one day !

A welcome refuge for the weary pilgrim!
Steve and Rose were fantastic hosts that took me into their family- accommodation was simple but had everything one could need. Food was eaten with their family. They have a beautiful garden with many plants and places to rest and relax. Donations are accepted in return for their hospitality. A must visit for any pilgrim!

The beautiful setting amongst the olive groves and oaks is but an inkling of the kindness and generosity that you'll find within. Rose and Steve warmly welcomed me when I rocked up unexpectedly. They then went out of their way to make me feel at home. After a hot shower Steve made sure I had a cup of tea and Rose made sure I didn't go hungry that evening. At night the quiet is broken only by the owls living close by and the stars are magnificent on a clear night. The 2 nights I stayed flew by and I left very humbled by the kindness shown to me by the family.

I am astonished by this place.The family who runs that is so clean in heart and beautifull that If You dont stay here you dont get a Camino!

This place is the best I have ever been to and I already walked two camino. Rose and Steve welcomed me with such a kindness, showed me their garden and made amazing vegetarian food, just amazing! a camino gem!!!

This is a great little place to stay on the Camino. Steve and Rose are really welcoming. Great food good company and all donativo. Highly recommend x

Este Albergue é de paragem quase obrigatória. Espaço alternativo e bastante acolhedor. Não sendo a primeira vez, continuo a ficar surpreendido com a simpatia e hospitalidade da família que nos recebe. O espaço fica mesmo à face dos caminhos de Santiago e Fátima sem ser necessário fazer qualquer desvio. Ao entrar deparamos com um espaço bastante organizado e limpo. As condições para dormir e tomar banho são Excelentes o que proporciona uma boa recuperação para quem está a peregrinar. Muito bom. Recomendo.

Estou a fazer o caminho de porto a Fátima e através de um blogue fiquei a conhecer este maravilhoso albergue.
Não existe luxo aqui, mas algo mais importante eles têm.. chama-se Família.
Aqui sentimos nos em família, como se estivéssemos sentados à mesa com os nossos primos que não víamos à muito tempo.
Pessoas simples, e muito simpáticas!!

Una parada obligatoria para los peregrinos. Steve y Rose son perfectos anfitriones. La atmósfera es armonía. Es una familia y te invitan a ser parte de ella por algunas noches. Estoy agradecido por cruzarlos en mi camino.

Excelente albergue! Situado a poucos kms de Ansião, em plena natureza. O casal é extremamente simpático, boa conversa e ainda por cima cozinham bem!! O preço também é óptimo. Fui muito bem recebido e todas as necessidades facilitadas. Adorei o contacto muito próximo com a natureza e, ainda tive a sorte de conhecer 2 ciclistas nortenhos vindos de Vila Nova de Gaia (ou Fiães?) com quem passei um fim de tarde e serão a rir! Obrigado..
