O Covão dos Musaranhos (restaurante)

Super awesome and beautiful place, for hiking and biking, with kids and without. They have a barbecue and Picknick table under a tree, the restaurant is also cute with normal prices, vegan food was between 7 and 8'50€. When you park you can go to the left and in less than 20 minutes (with bike) you are at the beach (amazing views), super beautiful path with exotic birds. On the way they give Paddel surf/kite surf classes. If you go to the right along the road and then straight on the side of the water you get to a bird observation spot. If you keep going there are Picknick tables and a 2'7 km Hiking path, which is accessible with bike going around at the left or going up the rocks at the right. This one I only recommend if you have a good mountain bike with suspension (wouldn't recommend in rainy season). If you follow the signs you will get to another bird observation point. I recommend on sunny days cause with clouds it loses its magic shine on the water and it's windy so it's kinda cold without sun. It's also a super nice place to make Photoshootings.

Cosy and friendly restaurant at the Obidos Lagoon. Very nice and efficient staff serving very tasty lunches and dinners, as well as coffee, drinks and snacks. Beautiful views. Reasonable prices. Wide selection for meat lovers and vegetarians.

Always full, better make reservation. Try their beef steak with pepper sauce, grilled dourada or fried shrimps! It’s awesome!

Like it very much. Enjoyed the food very much, nice staff, good and relaxing view towards the Lagoa de Óbidos. Prices have adequate for the portion sizes. A place to revisit when another opportunity comes.

Not many places better on a warm afternoon.

Great mix of water pursuits in warm lagoon. Friendly cafe and a public barbecue anyone can use with their own charcoal in the shade of eucalyptus.

Good coffee, great view over Obidos Lagoon. Pleasant, English speaking staff. Best place to stop after a nice walk. Don't plan to visit on national holidays, every single table booked at 11.30 today.

Fantastic views of the lagoon. Very good tasty food at very reasonable prices. We have been using the place for 4 years the quality is always superb.

Good spot by the water. Simple food. Friendly staff. fresh clams were nice. Stayed in the car park for a night out of season - was really peaceful.

Just perfect, great views and lovely simple food for a quick meal on the move. Draft beer and coffee was excellent and the staff superb but much better without the mask ...love it and highly recommend.

By the lagoon and friendly staff. Smoked sausages and sardines (it was not the season for it and were told that they serve frozen sardines at the moment) were delicious. Happy to pop over here anytime. Worth a detour if it is not on your scheduled route and happen to be close to this place.

The food is very tasteful and I recommend the black pasta with prawns. And when having a big appetite take the ‘amaisios’ (I believe this is the pronunciation) as a starter. We return to this place over and over again. Also a good spot to take along your dog and sit at the sides of the terrace. They also serve some nice wines too.
