Casa do Criado

We didn't actually stay here. However, after a long and arduous walk back from the waterfalls, we found ourselves lost and without transport back to Braga. We found ourselves at the Casa Do Criado and one of the members of staff came to our rescue and gave us the name of a local taxi service for us to call. Without her, we would be royally screwed. So, thank you very much for helping us in our time of need

In Peneda Geres. Cleam simple rooms. One can ask the owner for dinner, His food is good and comforting. We where a family of 8. The food was so good didn't have the chance to photograph 😅 the goat is outstanding.

Great views from all the houses allows you to wake up with an incredible mountain view.

Good food at very affordable prices. 1 serving of alheira for 2 people + 2 drinks + starters = 16€. Staff was affable and impeccable when one of our dishes fell to the ground and they gave us another alheira to replace the one that fell.

Stunning views over Peneda Gerês National Park. Simple but very comfortable accommodation. Friendly staff that are more than happy to help you where to find amazing spots to visit around.

Excelent food and service. The house has an amazing view and serves delicious local food such as goat. The price is fantastic and it's a good place to have your lunch or dinner if you are visiting the Ermida-Geres park.

The perfect spot. If you want to reenergize this the perfect way. Here you can rest, you can refresh in tho pool, you can be peacefull, and you can have a fine confort meal since there is a traditional portuguese restaurant.

Great food and service at very reasonable prices in a stunning location.

I love this place. I will back soon to stay another relaxing days with nature.

Durante as minhas férias no Gerês fui jantar duas vezes a este restaurante (não fiquei hospedado). Excelente opção para quem procura comida de tacho. A qualidade é excelente assim como o atendimento. Nota: convém marcar.
