We moved to Capelo 2 years ago and Tomas, Maria and their family immediately made us feel at home. Great little pub that is open almost every afternoon, always full of locals laughing and catching up with each other. This is the real Azores. These are its people. The attached shop stocks most things and then some...we have found great gifts here for friends abroad and during public holidays like Easter and Christmas the store has the best assortment of gift ideas. Learn to speak the language, sit here and listen. Great atmosphere when the sun is out. Closed between 1 pm and 3 pm.

Everything you need when hiking around. Food for cooking, vegetables, beverages. No bread though. Some clothes too.
