Barquinha Parque

Small town but then what a surprise: a huge beautiful park along the riverside. Well balanced areas of green lawns, old trees and water bodies and all is well maintained.
We came here to enjoy a picnic (there's is a place for BBQ) with friends and yes we are coming definitely back for another outing.

The Best park in the entire Region. IT is large, with, with wonderful views over the tiver Tejo. You have places to eat, drink, make pic nics, sports and loot of stuff for the small ones to. You Can save half a day just to visita this park and the Best part, you Don't have to passando any entry or Parkplatz!!

I love this park without its artwork and fountains. The river is also beautiful here.

Beautiful and big park, full of weeping willows and playgrounds for the kids! Also, ducks in a tiny castle 😁

If you are looking for a lovely place to rest, in a lovely little village. Then this is it..a really relaxed place. Great for all the family.

In one small but wonderfull vila.
Very good place to the one who like sweet waters sports.
Few water front restaurants... and very nice people.
Just perfect to anyone who desire one calm end of day.

Beautiful location to visit.

This is a stunning park. Who ever is the mayor of this town should be truly proud of their achievements. There is an infinity stream to the river, art work and sculptures, the public toilet building forms a waterfall. We are visiting in our motorhome and there is parking and services provided free of charge. The new buildings merge perfectly with the old which makes this beautiful town a rare beast indeed. Bravo!!!

The park is beautifull and also the location at the river. But the village is not much to do. Also a lot of places which looked before nice are now closed. Really sad. So, good to go to for an afternoon but not for a couple of days.

A park with art installations, water features superb views over the Tagus. Easy walking full wheelchair access. Free parking. Calm and relaxed. We visited on New year's Eve as dusk was falling. Wonderful sunset.

Beautiful garden by the river with activities for all ages since swings and slides to long cycling paths, terraces, picnic tables and viewpoints. If you come to Vila Nova da Barquinha, you have a wonderful place to spend your day.

Beautiful place near the Tagus River. It's a shaded green area and has various sculptures of different modern portuguese artists. It's a must visit place if you're passing in the zone.

Nice stroll with some pleasant and interesting artwork and good view of the river.

Beautiful garden, activities for the little ones and a couple of nice cafes to have a relaxed drink or icecram. Had the street food during summer and some events and you have the full package.

Lovely and clean BBQ area . Kids can play great for all year round
