I stopped by to sign the papers and get my bank card as instructed by Novo Banco, since I opened the account online and didn't want to wait for the card in the mail to another country. The person told me since I didn't have a job he wouldn't finalize it. I explained to him that he had all my paper work online already but he didn't care. I told him I could print my investments account papers and bring them to him the next day, and he said he would take a look. The next day he just told his coworker to tell me he wouldn't take it and he didn't care because it wasn't from Portugal. I went to a different location signed the papers, got my card in about 20 minutes and I didn't even need the extra document I had printed. They were both arrogant and inefficient.
