Great place with fantastic service! The rooms are large and very clean. The whole place has the feeling of an old established well maintained hotel with everything that's needed.

I'd give 6 stars for the service alone if I could, Vanessa in the reception made our stay there very memorable. An outstanding eye for customer service!

This hotel is very close to the seafood and the town centre. I arrived early and they asked me to have lunch and then check in. It was great advice as I had a great lunch, the first in four days of walking, then checked in when my bag had arrived.

The room was decent. As a four star hotel I had a bidet, a stocked refrigerador and nice soap in the bathroom. It would have been nice if they would have left a bottle of water in the room.

The breakfast was good, great coffee and hot items on the buffet. I recall the baked beans were especially good.

I think overall a nice hotel and service.

Walking the camino from Porto to valcencia.
We stayed a night in the fantastic hotel. Its excellent and exceeded all expectations.
The food was delicious and the Veal was the Grandmother's recipe OMG beautiful cuisine.
And the rooms were fabulous and spa facilities used Voya which is an Irish seaweed company with excellent quality in their products. I use all the time and this Hotel was a dream and blessing fir the pilgrims like me.i avail of the pool spa restaurant and fabulous facial from the very professional and beautiful spa beauty therapist there.
So highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely love to vist again 🙏❤❤

The room was really good, breakfast is excellent, and the location is great for the Camino. It was just a little expensive. Staff are really polite and friendly.

My husband and I stayed here whilst doing the Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. The Hotel is nicely situated for the attractions and amenities with plenty of little cafes and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the beach. Our room was a good size, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was continental. Staff were very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel

Comfortable room in a quiet location. Simple cafe style all day menu. Food good quality. Great breakfast. Helpful reception staff. Close to beach and Camino route.

The place is on the way to pilgrims. very cosy and rooms are clean. Swimpool is very nice to have after a long walk. The ocean beach is nearby - one street downstear.

Wonderful hotel, excellent professional service, rooms are beautiful with great design and comfort. Our room has a very large balcony with long chairs to relax, etc. My wife and I are extremely satisfied. Our room (122) is very nice. They also have a restaurant with excellent food and service. I don’t tend to write reviews unless I am truly impressed and this is definitely the case. Thank you, Hotel Maira and your team of professionals. The location is perfect too. Currently at the hotel. Very nice hotel, close to the sea. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has a general cozy atmosphere. Hikers are welcome especially due to the Caminho de Compostela. The seafood buffet in the evening (Saturday) was wonderful

On my way I decided spontanous to ask for a room. The warm welcome of your staff made it easy for me. I learned your Hotel is in process of change. The direction of this changing is very fine. Therefore I wish future guests much more of this I enjoyed during my stay.

Nice hotel with a restaurant and free parking off site. The standard rooms are small but ok. The location in town is within walking distance to the beaches in summer and is on the Portuguese Coastal Way to Santiago de Compostela. Many pilgrims stopped here for the night.

Very nice place, friendly people. Clean and cozy room, with small kitchen and balcony, allowing to prepare something to eat. The surrounding are pleasant. The sea and the mountains, give us plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature.

Modern, friendly staff and in the very center of the ville. Food is amazing and the rooms were very clean. This put to shame most of hotels in Italy and England i have been to.
