Camping Corgo do Pardieiro

We loved staying at this beautiful estate in the middle of the Portugese countryside. It's a perfect place to calm down from a busy trip. Reineke is a very warm and easygoing hostess. We also highly recommend fish restaurant O Peixeiro in the nearby village Amoreiras.

It has been an amazing experience. A bit like a paradise. A place to recover, find some peace and stillness. Reineke, the host is a great person and doing a great job there. Very kind, helpful, easygoing and fun to share some thoughts and stories with.
The campsite has lots of space, bathroom, shower, small outdoor kitchen and a hangout area as well as seating options around the campsite. A bit remote (the next village with a train station and three little supermarkets around 3 km away).

This was a truly beautiful experience from the moment I arrived and found, Reineke, the owner, in her beautiful garden at the back of the house watering her plants.

There is a peace and gentleness around the whole property that radiates from her presence there on the land.

We had a beautiful conversation straight off. And I knew it was the right place to be to spend some time reconnecting with myself.

At night the Milky Way was right up in the sky above the house and stars were great to watch.

I couldn’t recommend a more special place to camp and spend some time connecting with yourself and nature.

There are some great walks through the surrounding land and also some great places to eat. Even the cafe at the train station (Amoreiras-Gare) was a great spot to drink a coffee, eat and watch the locals go about their lives. And be sure to check out the seafood restaurant in the town. Delicious!

A short bus ride away you can get to São Martinho and eat at Casa Nirvana or buy bread at the local traditional bakery.

It’s a real treat of an area to stumble across or make a detour to stay for a while.

I’ll be back for sure. Reineke and the people of Alentejo have a lot of heart about them.

Really good place to stay ! Very quite and exactly the good confort i need to rest weel.
It means a great hot shower at any time of the day, a conventinal toilet and natural toilet, a well equiped kitchen....
Everything in this vey quite and beautiful place.
Reineke is really nice and cool to have a talk with.
I recommend 100% if you are looking for a wild place with some confort.

Also a very beautiful region to go if you want to enjoy a very quality gravel path there.

Great escape from our busy life. A hidden gem in the beautiful Alentejo area. Remote camping between delicious smelling trees & shrubs. We camped on the hill under a beautiful Cork oak tree and a thousand stars. The host Reineke, a Dutch native, is super friendly. She cooked a delicious veggie meal for us on the day of arrival. Highly recommended place to camp!

What a place! We discovered Reineke's Treasue in May and the whole valley was an explosion of flowers and wild herbs. Reineke as a host is very open and authentic. My wife and I felt an instant connection with her.

If what we are looking for in the future is a tranquil place in nature, we will definitely visit again. If you go here, do promise to walk all the way up and see the valley while the sun is setting. <3

This space is special and certainly not like any other campsite.
It is very private and quiet. Basically Reineke opens her lovely (and huge) garden to campers. Besides shower and toilet of course, there is a nice outdoor kitchen and an awesome space to chill with hammock and couches.
I loved my stay there under the bright stars and I really regret not having stayed longer but my itinerary didn’t allow.
I can certainly recommend this space if you want to leave behind crowded spaces and regular campsites.
I was there by bike and was too tired to explore the area. But if you need information I am sure Reineke can help.

Very peaceful and relaxing campsite. I recommend it 100%. If you like nature and the simple life, this is your place to be.

We had two beautiful nights at R.`s camping! To be honest, I think this is just the perfect place, if you are looking for something different than the usual camping parks.
It is calm, in the middle of the nature, you have a lot of privacy, the facilities are very clean, there is a beautiful common space and everything is taken care of with love! The nights are stunning, brightened by the stars and the moon and lots of sounds of animals like ouls or frogs.
The check in and check out was super easy, even if we spontaneously decided to come back to stay another night.

We truly loved our stay and it is worth it the way! Thank you very much for everything and we are hoping to see you once more!

A great peaceful stay at this beautiful campsite surrounded by nature. I loved the privacy that every place has because the terrain is so large. Also there is a well equipped outdoor kitchenette that served us well for cooking.
Would definitely recommend!

It was my second visit and I truly love this hidden green paradise. Also loved the chill out area with shade, cosyness, hammock, fairy lights. Stayed for two weeks and felt very at home. Thanks Reineke!

Lovely place, everything you need and more! Clean showers/toilets, immens biodiversity of fauna and flora and no noize nor polution. Ideal if you are looking for a remote place to relax and enjoy nature.

This camping is not just a camping. It is an experiment!! So quiet and
wild , all the stars at night, and this mysterious and tremendous silence among beautiful cork oaks and olives trees...The 3kms on a good path worth it, don't be afraid I did it with my van California. Call or mail before if you come with a van, only 4 can camp at a time...Good walks around that Reineke can explain to you, and a village so cute nearby, with nice people, good vibes and good food...All like Reineke's welcoming, So rare, just enjoy!!! I 'll come back!

Wonderful place in the middle of nature, camping the way it should be. The nearby village is charming and full of friendly faces.

Reineka is kind and generous and her property is beautiful and quiet. Intended to stay only one night and stayed two instead, playing music with everyone in the evening.

Well taken care of, clean facilities, Secluded private sites, powered /water or unpowered, wifi at main house , sweet rolling green hills to gaze on, flowers and grapes all around in perfect places, ecological swimming pool, picnic tables in picture perfect tree shaded serenity, silence all about, good unpaved road, can walk to town (40min), owner lives here and loves the land and the people, she offers pickups from lisbon even! ( Or local) for more than reasonable rate, a cabin is available for rent too. Peace of nature fills the air as it ought to. Loving staying here, staying a bit longer now.
