we absolutely loved our stay in the hut at the farm! Chris is so warm, welcoming and wise - we learned so much from him during our time there and will take that knowledge with us. he was very open and answered all our many questions. we are so grateful for that!

the horses are all amazing, all with their own unique stories. we did a few lessons and really appreciate the approach and methods used as they are very animal welfare focused. they clearly love their animals very much.

Lara and Mariella helped us a lot with the horses and were so lovely and knowledgeable too - thank you so much!

on top of this the hut was gorgeous and cosy, private with a lovely terrace. Well stocked and had everything we need - we loved the outdoor shower and toilet!

we 100% recommend the place and can’t wait to return!

A wonderful place for horse or nature lovers !
You can come for a ride through the beautiful algarve upon one of the dozens of well cared-for horses, or stay even longer for a workaway with a welcoming and very nice family. I spent two amazing months there, will be back for more.

Wonderful place, wonderful horses and wonderful people! If you are looking for a peaceful and restful place and would like to learn how to communicate with horses than it is a perfect spot for you. Chris is a great host and teacher: for the adults as well as for the children. The horses are very friendly, well taken care of. The sorroundings are also really enjoyable. Good place to both start your contact with horses or deepen it. Have fun!
